Over the river and through the FUN!

I love the picture of brooklynn when she sees Trent!! I can understand where he's coming from, I'm not a drinker either, but its hard for people to accept it when i'm out with friends. He''ll find a girl im sure, hes quite a catch!

It's funny how a little bit of muscle can turn women into drool babies!! Somebody give me a bib!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

great update and pics.

June is not a big dismeet. I have no plans to meet any disers. It is my family and friends going.

The buying of Bay Lake depends on the sale of this place, which is now in contract. We should have extra money and with that we will buy into it outright and just pay maintenance for the next 51 years. :rotfl2:

:thumbsup2 That explains it. I'll try and get caught up today.

Sometimes our bunch can just be unexplainable! :upsidedow

Hmmmm, I have some cute friends!! I'm just saying!!! Then, that would mean I could join on all those wonderful vacations as well!!!! :lmao:

Good friends, good food, good fun = GREAT vacations!

Great pics MeMom but did you have to post the pictures of those guys?? The women on here have gone crazy!! ;) :lmao:

I bet you know a bunch of cute Canadian volleyball (that's the correct sport, right?) players. I might send him up there to watch a game! :rotfl:

Ah man, that leaves out my DD. She dated the same guy for 6 years, broke up with him Senior year of college, so now she's making up for lost time. She does have a boyfriend but hey, they're not married :goodvibes

Maybe they can meet up someday then.
What could be more right than a Diser's daughter plus a Diser's son?!?!?

I appreciate and understand the not wanting to drink thing. I've never been a drinker, but I have no problem at all with drinking in itself. I know a lot of people love good wines, and a lot will drink a beer like a soft drink with a meal, but it's that getting together at parties and just going and going until someone falls over or loses their common sense that gets stupid and sometimes dangerous. I've never seen or smelled an alcoholic beverage that would appeal to me, but I guess if I ever decided I would try a drink, I would have to go for the Grey Goose Slushie thing everyone talks about on the Disboards. There must be something good about it, because everybody seems to think it's wonderful.

By the way, I did taste beer once, when I was young - at Busch Gardens they used to give you samples, and my dad let me have a sip. I thought it was gross, and the smell around the brewery was not pleasant to me at all, so that's what I associate with drinks of any kind. I have recently read that Busch Gardens has just in the past little bit stopped handing out the free drinks. It could be a rumor, but I did read it somewhere.

Well, if it makes you feel better, he's got some brains to go with his brawn. He was an Honor Society student/ Student Council/Senior Superlative, etc.

Oh, I thought that trip was a big Dis meet. I don't know where I got that. I guess because you always seem to be meeting new Disers!

That would be awesome to buy outright and just pay dues! That would be a dream come true in a big way!

I've made it through page 2! :cool1:

I just wanted to stop and add to the conversation I briefly read about babies and birthweights. :rolleyes1

My first was 9 lbs 14 oz - born 2 weeks early.

My second was 9 lbs 10 oz - born 3 weeks early. (so he probably would have been bigger if born around the same time)

My third was 10 lbs 6 oz born on his due date.

With my first I passed the first glucose test/screening. With my second, I failed the first, but passed the second. With my third, I passed the first test, but because I was measuring so far ahead, they had me take the 3 hour test and I failed. They think I might have had gestational diabetes with all three, just not diagnosed. I did check my blood sugar daily with my last pregnancy and I never had any issues. Never needed insulin.

I had all three naturally (no drugs with the second and last). The last one was the only one I had trouble delivering as his shoulders got stuck.

Anyway - just my contribution (or war story as I like to call it :goodvibes ).

I'm still working my way through - on page 18 now! :cool1:

Anyway - I just read and saw where you had the holiday special at Earl of Sandwich (a favorite of ours :thumbsup2 ) and I'm so hungry right now that I'm drooling thinking about it. How cool that they have that on the menu during the holidays!! :goodvibes

Wow, with all this attention those handsome men are getting on here, I can only imagine what it's like for them around town. :rotfl: I agree with ALL the others, very cute! ;)

Brooklynn sure does love her Bubby! Adorable reaction to seeing him. :cutie:

Comments later.

Let's have an afternoon parade!!!

Every time I see this float, I am grateful that there was a Walt Disney and that he started all of this. Just think of all the people we know and all the good times we have had because of what he started.

It all started with a mouse.

This Mouse.

IMG_0480.jpg

Only I don't think he dressed quite as nice back in the beginning days.

This is what I tell my students will happen to them if they don't behave.

IMG_0485.jpg

Not really.

One of my Disney favorites, Jiminy Cricket.

IMG_0486.jpg

Can you name all seven dwarfs? (Dwarves? Dwarfs? That's what the original posters say. I think they're both right in the regular world, but it might be only dwarfs in Disney terms.)

Eeyore is probably my very favorite Disney character.

Brooklynn calls him 'mean old Captain Hook'.

IMG_0499.jpg

A lot of evil on one float.

IMG_0500.jpg

Does he know he freaks me out?
I think he does.
Look - he's looking right at us!

IMG_0501.jpg

You've got your voice, your pretty face,
And don't underestimate the importance of body language!

IMG_0504.jpg

There will be a short break in the parade while I load and post the rest. Enjoy the popcorn.
Don't let any late-comers sit in front of you.
We'll finish the parade in a few minutes.

Still got your popcorn and your good spot?
Here we go!

IMG_0508.jpg

Brooklynn used to say Peter Pan flew to Nebberband.
She says it correctly now, but it sure was cute when she said it wrong.

IMG_0509.jpg

Hey, I know you!
It's me!
Bibby Bobby Boo!

Royal couples.

The parade was over.

What's next?

For me right now, it's figuring out what to do about supper.
See you real soon!

Great spot for the Parade! We've never seen it from there so it was great to see how it looks from there. :)

I'm all caught up! :woohoo:

I'm not going to comment on everything because there was just so much to see and read. :goodvibes But, I will say a few things.

# 1 - Brooklynn is pure sweetness. :lovestruc

# 2 - This is a very special TR.

# 3 - I love your writing MeMom - and your sense of humor. :thumbsup2

# 4 - I have only ever seen Spectromagic as far as parades go, but I think your pictures have convinced me to squeeze some in on our upcoming trip.

I'm so glad you posted on my PTR, which brought me here to meet your lovely family. Looking forward to lots more. :flower3:

Okay, we need to see the day parade at MK- which one do you/Brooklyn like best? We are huge Spectro fans.... but always miss the daytime one!

The last daytime parade I saw was in 2004 and that was a Christmas one -- I think it's time for us to pull up a piece of curb for the 3:00 one.

I died laughing about the comment to students!!! :rotfl:

Seven Dwarves? Hmmm...there is Sneezy, Sleepy, Doc, Grumpy, Bashful, Dopey...who am I missing???

I've been reading along for awhile...I hardly ever post anywhere....ever...I was, for some reason, compelled to share that Tolkein says that the plural of dwarf is dwarfs.

Also, I love your TRs! I like that it seems like everyone reading them is part of one big family! Keep it up!

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous parade pictures!!!!!!!!!

Dwarfs: Sleepy, Happy, Grumpy, Dopey, Sneezy, Bashful, Doc!!!! I always remembered them that way from watching the Disney Channel when I was 8 years old!!!:rotfl2:
