Over the door shoe holders, question to DVC members about the studio

We are taking the 4 day cruise for the first time. I can understand the use of the holders for the cruise. We are also staying in a studio for a few days before and after the cruise. Where do you hang these in the studios if you just want to put your "junk" from the parks (cameras, sunglasses, lanyards etc) in them to clear up clutter and not use them in the bathroom? Is there a convenient place near the front door? I hope this thread doesn't get moved to the DVC forum, the cruise people seem to use these more than any other forum .

You won't have to worry about space at a studio room at WDW (DVC resort). These rooms are a nice size (My wife, daughter and I always stay in a studio). If you want to use your shoe sorter, put it over the bathroom door or hang in the closet.

I love the "shoe" holders. Since I used one on a cruise several years ago, I never go to the World without one. We hang it over the rod in the closet. That way we can close the door and not have to look at the clutter. All of our bathroom items, battery charger and pocket junk go in.

They work as well at the World as they do on the cruise.

Thanks guys. I was kind of hoping there would be something to hang it on as soon as we walk into the studio? So we can throw all our junk in there. Is there anything like that? I guess the closet is a good option, I was just thinking of something right in front of you as you walk in so you can see all the items and not have to go into a closet.

In the BCV studios, there is a shelf with several rod type hangers just as you walk in the door. We have a very small holder on a hanger that we hung from the door knob of the connecting door. The chelf unit was wide enough to hold keys, camera, film, etc.
