A thought about over the door hangers... and trying to sleep....

• does the hanger allow the door to close? If the door is not closed, the door may be swinging back and forth on the boat. Not fun trying to sleep with hinges creaking.
• Is the hanger too thick to allow the door to close? Will the door be warped and damage when the door is forced?
• Will the rocking of the boat cause your items to bang against the door?
• which door? Closet door was a slider in my Wonder cabin. Won't allow for an overdoor hanger.

Door handle hanger may be a preferred choice, but might still be banging on a moving boat.

On our last two cruises (b2B Dec 2015) we just hi=ung it on the hanger inside th closet same as anything else on a hanger. any banging around with boat motion was much quieter then the noisy wooden hangers that come in the closet.

So tonight everything was finalized...after 4 years we're finally cruising on the Fantasy! My family and I have been on the other 3 Disney ships and are finally living out our dream of cruising on the Fantasy! Oh, did I mention it's next Saturday, May 7th? So I need help from the experts...you guys!

I just saw something on here that said the clear shoe holders that "we" used to carry to put things in like sunblock, sunglasses, and other things are not allowed.?. I may have read that wrong but please get me straight. I know I have a packing list from when were about to take our last cruise but I could sure use help on things "NOT" to forget. Any advice, tips, tricks, lists, anything and everything you can think of please post. I don't have any days off from work before we actually leave May 6th so this weekend is going to be full steam ahead for preparation and packing! We're so excited!! Oh and it may be a little early but my "50th" birthday is 5/21 so we're going to be celebrating that while onboard! TIA

The word "organizer" was never used in the title of the post so I thought I'd tag you to help you out. I had put mine up with 3M tape's before but will probably just hang mine in the closet this year myself.

I used magnetic wreath hooks last time, but just found some cool hooks at Lee Valley for our next cruise: http://www.leevalley.com/en/wood/page.aspx?p=73796&cat=1,42363,42348

I hang mine on the wall where the connecting door would be, it's not in the way there and easy to reach all the odds and ends. (The walls and ceilings are metal, so you can put magnets anywhere)
