Over the border shopping in Buffalo

go to Erie, PA. Or better yet, go to Grove City, PA. It would be a two day experience, but well worth it.
Erie, PA, and hour from Fort Erie, ON and Grove City, PA, and hour south of Erie, PA.

If you go to Erie, PA, you have to go to GABRIEL BROTHERS. Amazing!!

Thanks for everyones replys. It's not just about buying cheaper its also about going to stores that we don't have here such as Victorias Secret, Bath and Body works and Target. They do have items we don't have and it is different. And I just wanted to point out that vacationing in Disney also supports the US economy so if your really concerned about that you should vacation only in Canada.

We actually holiday in Canada far more often than we ever do in the US. We more often than not go to Niagara for long weekends and Toronto and out to Quebec for March break for the kids so we spend about 100-1 holiday dollars in Canada compared to teh US

The same can be said for most Canadians shopping in the US.

I am going there with a bunch of friends on the 12th (8 girls in all) and we are staying at the Homewood Suites so we can all share a room, Where is the best outlet mall or a great place to shop with deals? We are hoping to get most of our Christmas shopping done that weekend! We were thinking of going to Applebees for dinner or is there a better place you all recommend?

Mousy, can you report back how you like the hotel and location when you get baCK! i am very interested to stay her nexgt month and hope it is as nice as the website shows.

We stayed there before going to Disney last year it is FANTASTIC! I am the one who picked this hotel and I think it is 100% worth it! Plus with 8 of us going it is only approx. $30 each so that can't be beat!

Just wanted to report back about the Millennium that some of you have stayed at. I guess they are renovating the rooms (as someone mentioned) and I managed to snag a rate of $35 a night (listed as a 3*) on Priceline for 2 nights later this week. I'll be sure to ask for a "new" room. The hotel website has rates that include shopping or breakfast but that runs b/w 120-150 per night.....so I'll take my $35 rate.
I'll report back next week-end about the state of the hotel.
