So, as the title says, I was apparently over charged for the shipping on our trick or treat tickets back in may. The CM who processed my order charged me for our tickets, then said she realized I wasnt charged shipping, and charged me $10. On everywhere I have been checking, it said shipping was $3. I called today to verify, and they said $10 for shipping for orders over $200, which mine was not.
The CM who I spoke with today, said when she pulled up my order, it shows the $10 was reversed the same day, so I called Disney Visa to verify cause I dont remember seeing the credit on my statement. Disney Visa has no record on that date or any date since then for a $10 credit from Disney. I called back again to DL, the CM had a hard time finding my account for some reason, and gave me another number to call, which just asks me to leave a message and describe my issue. I did this, but of course did not get a call back today.
Anyone else ever have something like this happen?? What did you do??:confused3 I know $10 isnt much, but it would pay for 2 kid meals, or 2 gallons of gas!!!

I haven't had it happen, but I would definitely pursue it. Either be patient (though probably until Monday), or call again until it's taken care of.

You made absolutely sure you were charged that 10, yes? Just in case the credit was "caught" by the card's system and that 10 never really went through?

I just went through the online system and even when I added 8 tickets to my cart, bringing the total to 232, all it says about shipping is that e-shipping is free, 10 day shipping is 3, 8 day shipping is 10, and Int'l Express Mail is 20.

So I don't even know why they are saying 200+ would be 10, but regardless, if you got 10 day shipping for under that amount, it should only be 3, and you are owed that back!

So really if you were overcharged it would only be for $7 since $10-$3 that you were supposed to be charged. If it was me I'd leave a message and hope it gets resolved. I wouldn't spend any more time worrying about it though as it is only $7. I assume you have already spent at least a half hour persuimg the matter. How much of your time would $7 be worth to you?

Interesting example... while Bill Gates was working for Microsoft, if durring work he dropped a $100 dollar bill, do you know that if he took time to bend down and pick up the bill he would actually lose money.

Yes, when I received my statement for May, the $10 charge was there. When I called yesterday, they said there system said it was reversed at 8:21am on the same day, although Disney Visa has no record of it. I called them to double check since I didnt remember seeing it on my statement.
I ordered over the phone, and was not given the option on mail service. I did receive my tickets 2 days after ordering them though.

ANd yes, the difference would only be $7, but they todl me they reversed $10, so I assume that is just as a courtesy that they did free shipping for their mistake. Not sure though.

Interesting that the reversal didn't "take".

I would definitely fight for it. I haven't worked for money since '02, so it's useless for me to think about what my time is worth. I do rewards sites and will work off and on for hours to get a survey for 80 cents, LOL, so 7 or 10 bucks is huge to me! :goodvibes
