Outside Visitors at Aulani

One of the families we are traveling with to Aulani (also DVC members and staying there on a DVC ressie) have a daughter that lives in Oahu. Will she be able to visit the resort and take part of things like the Starlit Hui? What about using the pools with us? Can we add her to excursions?

I'm just wondering what our options are since she will not be on the ressie and therefore will not have a wristband? The room is at max capacity so she can't just be added to the ressie.

I don't remember them checking bracelets at the Starlit but they were all over it at the pools.

They check our bracelets while in line for the Starlit Hui in October 2014. And if people didn't have bracelets they had to provide a room key. The turned people away that didn't have either one. They checked the line multiple times. And continued to check later arrivals. For the pools, lazy river, snorkeling and free beach items she would need a bracelet too. She can dine and use the spa and lounges without needing one. They take charge cards too.

The friends could add the daughter to their room if occupancy allows. That would entitle her to the bracelet and free parking. As to excursions, you don't need to be staying at Aulani to take them so she could definitely do that.

Unfortunately, if she cannot be added to either of your reservations, she cannot obtain a wristband for the pools and entertainment.
