Outside the park scooter rental

We would like to rent a scooter for our daughter when we go in December. Can anyone recommend a place to rent from and the prices? I did a search but no one post the price. Thank you.

I am trying to convince my DH to let me rent an ECV for him (he has a temporary disability and stubbornly wants to try and get by with just a cane). I see Deckert's recommended, and their phone is 714-542-5607. I thought I'd read somewhere it's about $50/day for an ECV but I haven't called them yet.

I rented last time for three days and it was about $100.

We used Deckert's for my mother the last few times we were there. It was about 110 for 4 days and they were great! They have it waiting at your hotel when you arrive and they pick it up the day you leave. Fantastic service!

I have used Scooter Village exclusively for the last three years--last time we got there and my Mom (who has her own scooter) had forgotten her key at home. First they tried to replace the key (but because of the age of the scooter they didn't have one) then they had a scooter for her to use to the hotel within 15 minutes from calling! They are my go-to scooter company.

What kind of deposits are they charging ? DH needs one for October.
He can get around for awhile but with Parkinson's his FOG kicks in and hes uncomfortable in public.

Deckert's does not charge a deposit.

I know if you rent one each day from DL it is like $75 but you get $20 back when you return the ECV. It's cheaper and more convienient to rent one from an outside sourse so that you can take it to and from your hotel and into DTD. When you rent one at the park you can only go inbetween parks with it!
