I don't know the surroundings of DLH and would love to see what is being offered in the surrounding area that we could possibly walk to, not having a car during our stay this would be a big help. Anyone know of a "restaurant map" or something like that? Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated! TIA:p

There's a Mimi's Cafe by HoJo that a lot of people like. I'm not a fan, but others love it. We love Pizza Press which is almost directly across Harbor from the main gate.

Across the street you have Mimi's Cafe, Panera Bread, Pizza Press, I hop, Denny's and Tony Roma's. At Garden Walk there is Bubba Gumps, Cheesecake Factory, fire and Ice, and a few others I can't think of. On Katella there is a Coco's. That's about all that is less than a mile. Down Harbor about two miles or so is Outback, Red Robin, Bucca Di Beppo and Joes Crab Shack.

Marri's Pizza and Pasta is a half mile away. Walk out the front of Disneyland Hotel, walk out to Magic Way, turn left to Walnut, turn left to Katella and cross Katella, it is in the south west corner strip mall.

You could use Yelp. Put in the address of DLH and set your radius to 4 blocks or .5 mile. Then use Google Maps to find walking directions.

Also found in Garden Walk are a California Pizza Kitchen and a PF Chang's and on the opposite end an Irish bar that looked so sad and empty...

I like looking at Google Maps and zooming in to see what's around. It really helped when visiting Disneyland even though I haven't even ventured as far as Katella except for the Gardenwalk complex.

Google Maps also made it easy to locate more hotels to research!

We loved Pizza Press, but should have split one. We ate at Tony Roma's and it was pretty tasty, too. IHOP was good one night, way worse the second time when I ordered the same thing, but they have an email club that gives you free pancakes when you sign up and for your birthday.

Have fun planning!

I agree about splitting... but I just (relatively recently) found out they have a kid's pizza that comes with a small drink and a cookie for $7. That's my go-to meal now if i don't have another person to share with!
