Do they frown on you when you load in alot of food items from the local markets? Should I try to hide them to keep from getting embarrassed?

I can't imagine they frown too much. I have seen people bring in enough grocieries to feed the entire hotel. Don't worry about it.

I am sure they would rather you pay 3-5 for cokes and beer that they charge but they would never say anything. I have seen people use wagons to haul coolers and Rubbermaid boxes to their room. We always bring drinks, snacks and sandwich items. We still eat out most of the time but sometimes a quick sandwich and chips is all you have time for or need.

No, they don't mind at all. Most likely they will not even notice. Now if you are staying at the Grand or another deluxe resort, it might be a little embarrassing to walk all the way to your room with groceries if you're the type who cares what others think. However, if you are staying at a moderate or value resort, you can drive almost all the way to your room and it really won't be a big deal. Anyway, the point I was trying to make is that no cast members will care if you bring food from outside Disney property. Most likely, they will tell you the best place to get cheap food!
