"outside" pizza delivery?

Are there any pizza places that will deliver to the resorts? Thanks

There are several chains just off property that deliver. Every major chain is represented and delivers on-property.

Let me just comment that there are many reports of flyers under doors from pizza chains that are actually out to rip you off. Stick with a major chain or a recommendation you read here.

They put those dingin' flyers under the doors every night it seems. I'm still amazed how they get away with it.

I haven't used either of the places below but I am going to next time. A lot of people seem to like both of them. You can look at the menus and see if there is anything you think your family will eat.

We had Flipper's delivered at OKW in April. It was pretty good, but not as good as the Flipper's pizza we had IN the restaurant (and that was a different location of Flipper's as well - over by Universal). But as far as Florida pizza goes, it's the best I've ever had in FL.

As has been mentioned here already, DO NOT order if a flyer is pushed under your door.. This is an ongoing problem at WDW where people sneak in and put these flyers under doors. The number you call is not to the pizza place but to crooks who ask for a CC number to deliver the pizza and that is the last you hear from them and they have your CC number..smjj

I actually cough one of these people doing it and they ran away as fast as they could. Of course, i was screaming at her so that was an appropriate response... I don't do kind and gentle...

Pizza Hut and Giordano's both deliver to OKW/SSR. Used both several times over the years! There's also a Papa John's close but I don't care for it so I don't know if they do or not!

We've had Flippers delivered...they often have internet deals...it was good. This was when we were at OKW. One time we tried to have them deliver to BLT and they said it was out of their area. Giordanos is wonderful Chicago style pizza...we've only eaten in the restaurant.

While staying at BLT we ordered from papa johns.

It took longer then expected/quoted and they forgot the free litre of pop but came back within ten minutes with the pop.

Hey it happens but the pizza was okay for pizza on vacation.

I'm from the NY metro area, so I'm pretty picky about pizza.

We have tried both Flippers and Giordano's. Absolutely hated Flippers. Giordano's was okay. Just my opinion -- there are many who like both.

This is something I have wondered about so thanks for posting the question. We are staying at SSR this fall and actually wanted opinions about where is best to order from.
Also, Thanks for the warnings about the flyers guys. I wouldn't have thought that. We have had the flyers in our door at CSR and CBR and wondered how thet got on the resort with the security gate.

We had Pizza Hut deliver to us at Kidani Village, we had to go to the lobby to pick up the pizza because the resort does not allow pizza delivery direct to the room. So the driver just called as he arrived at the resort and we met him there. And carried the pizza back to the room.

we ordered from papa johns in dec/january while there. being from canada i hit up my fb friends and while several gave great suggestions(ie flippers), when we'd call from blt they told us no call this number etc and in the end told us they wouldnt deliver.

we called the front desk at the contemp and they advised us to try papa johns. after having the stomach flu and eating pizza in the parks so much i welcomed the change. it did take 45 minutes to deliver, but was hot and it was the holiday season.


another tip, if you're getting those flyers under the door, make sure you call the front desk to alert them. i called i dont know how many times and some cm's would be very helpful, take the name and number while others were just going to call security. im sure by the end of our two weeks i could of wall papaered a wall we had so many arrive.

We are in the Chicago area and we know that some of the big restaurants can actually half cook your pizza and then freeze it so you can finish baking it at home.
We are taking some with us on the plane and finish cook them once we are in our resort. We are staying in a studio for the first week so we will ask them to keep them in the frezzer for us and once in our one bedroom, we will cook them!

As much as I might enjoy a Geno's East pie while I'm at Disney, I don't think I would go through all of that (especially with luggage fees) when Giordanos will make a fresh pizza and deliver it hot to your resort..
