First time user and haven't been to Disneyland Resort in over 30 years. Which lines and rides at DCA and DL are outside? I can't tell from looking at maps. I had to have eye surgery and can't be in the sun too long. Our trip is in a week and I have to be careful of sun for a few months. I want to experience the trip with with my grandchildren (ages 2 and 5) as much as possible. We have early entry and genie plus. I will go in the morning for two hours and then return in the evening. If the grandchildren have outside lines and rides I want to see if we can do them first thing or last thing. I will have sunglasses, hat, umbrella. Is there anyother advice you have? Thank you.

I think you will be outside 95% of the time.
Others can give you suggestion to how to handle the sun and heat.

Thank you. The heat is not problematic but the direct sunlight. I am most concerned about water reflection on the Canal Storybook, submarine, jungle cruise and Pal Around. Does anyone know if the queue for these rides are are shaded or by the water?

Subs queue is mostly shaded (unless very long). Jungle cruise is mostly shaded, but if the line is long, guests are directed upstairs which does have some open areas (but no reflection from the water). Pal Around is outdoors completely, but I don't recall any glare from the water whilst in the queue. Storybook Canal books is completely outside and as you near the loading area, you are right next to the water.

By the way, try to ride Canal boats once during the day and once at night. Its a magical ride at night with all the little houses and villages lighted up.

Thank you. This is very good to know. I was hoping for the evening because I can't have the water glare during the day.
