We are driving in on a Saturday but not checking into WDW until Sunday as pricing is changing from Peak to Regular. I need one room for one night for a family of 5. We don't need a JW Marriott but we don't want to be at Motel H-ll either. Suggestions??? The kids will be turned up to 100 with excitement about going to Disney so I preferred something that might give me and the husband some peace while keeping the kids occupied. Suggestions?????

How much do you want to spend? We're staying in a 1 BR suite at the Marriott Residence Inn LBV (near Downtown Disney) for about $100. It's a 2 room suite (with a sofa bed in the living area) - and we get breakfast. I also know that mousesavers.com has the Buena Vista Suites advertised on their site for $89 (until just before Christmas). That's a good price for 2 rooms.

I was going to mention Buena Vista Suites - it is right down the road, and many times you can get the $89 rate. I had friends in town for a spur of the moment trip in January, with a family of five and that is where they stayed for a week. They were very happy with it. The friend was visiting me a few weeks prior without her family and we stopped by and checked at the rooms in advance in case they were able to get away... it would be very appropriate for a one night stay!!!!

Definitely under $100. I really don't want to put too much into it as I know we will be spending a ton at WDW.

I woudl recommend going to Priceline and bidding for a 3*in the Disney area. You could bid for two rooms if you need 3 beds. .
