Outrageous to add concierge to Poly

We're doing the land/sea combo. To add concierge to the 4 days of land, it's $900+ more!!!

Doesn't this seem excessive?

It does sound high... is it for 3 nights/4 days or 4 nights/ 5 days? That can make a difference, but still sounds high.. at 3 nights that is $300 more per night & 4 nights it's $225 more...$225 more at at rack rate ..that may be about right??? Here are the rack rates:

Sharon,

We check in Sunday and out Thursday AM. It is a garden view room and we're traveling next March.

I think we'll pass on this. My hubby would have a fit if I booked this ,especially since we have two rooms and it would be closer to $1900 for both.

Really wanted to try concierge, but I don't think it's in the plans

You are smart to pass it up... Maybe another time you can do just the Poly concierge & get a good deal. We did that 4 years ago. I had a standard garden view room booked, then they came out with Fl Resident Rates that were cheaper than what I had booked so I upgraded to concierge for only $55 (including the tax) per night! I paid only $259 per night for it!!! I haven't seen that deal since... and trust me... I have been looking! That was the best trip I had ever had, our room overlooked the castle.

The $900 must have been for both rooms! That's the only way it comes out right. $515 peak for concierge GV vs. $404 peak for GV is $109/room/night is $436/room.

It's still $900. I'd say it would really depend on how many and who (kids?) you have in your party. For me even at rack rate it is worth the extra $100/night with 3 adults and 3 kids (1 under 3). Of course I got hooked on it using a great room only discount in 2002 of about 45% off.
