So I signed up for outpost opinions and they are bombarding me with email and their questions are really personal IMO .

Is this a waste of time? It seems like the surveys take 3x longer than my pinecone surveys and don't pay as well. The only advantage is there are plenty of surveys.

I used to do OO a few years ago when you got more points than you do these days. All told, I probably made about $100 in a few months.
They sent me an email recently so I have started again. I usually am online while watching TV at night anyway, so why not?
One of the questions I guess you might consider personal is your annual income. Don't they have an option where you can choose not to answer? I usually answer the first couple of questions, THEN they tell me I don't qualify, they have too many people in my particular category, etc. But I do enjoy doing the surveys.

Yes, they have an option to opt out of annual income questions. These were way more personal than that .

I have made hundreds of dollars through them for some amazon fun money. There are lots of surveys and they add up fast. I have gotten surveys about all sorts of things. Today I had one about my teenagers opinion of "courage". Often they are products, sometimes TV shows, and once in awhile about medical conditions. If you think one is uncomfortable just move on.

Thanks for responding! Good to know the subject will change eventually if I move on. I kept getting survey after survey that were really strange. Amazon fun money would be nice!

I signed up for OO a while ago, but found that I never really got surveys, or I would answer preliminary questions for 10-15 minutes and then I would not be eligible. It ended up being a waste of my time; I'm pretty sure I'm not in their main focus group. It seemed to me that if you were a SAHM or hispanic you would get a lot of surveys.
