Outlet Malls

Do you think it is worth it to go to the outlet malls. I do buy a lot of stuff at WDW, so I know I will find something. How close are they CBR, and which one is better.

I usually go to the Premium Outlet Mall near Lake Buena Vista. Finding good things can be hit or miss depending on what they have in stock. Some of their prices are pretty good though. Just remember you'll need a car to get there.

Yep Premium Outlets are the ones we like too, usualy at least pick up a few cheap timberland t shirts there.
My mum stayed by the lbv factory outlets and we didn't like that one at all however

Im from the uk,i go to WDW every summer,And i use the Premium Outlets,it can be hit and miss at times,But i was told by a shop person,if you go on a wednesday the stores are re-stocked,just dont go there on a friday because,all the uk tour operators have there shopping trips that day,they also use LBV mall that day as well,but premium is a better outlet,but LBV has wall-mart across the road,and i love wall-mart,so cheap.

We like the Premium Outlets, a taxi cost us $15 - $20 each way (one was more expensive than the other but that's because there were more left turns I think

It's very pleasant (although we try and avoid the 'sales people' with the stalls outside the shops) and compact enough to see most things without being exhausted.

I thought the Disney Outlet was really good, the stuff changes a lot though. We've been there twice in different years and always come away with lots of goodies.

I think as long as you aren't looking for anything specific you'll be happy.

There is also the Crocs outlet there they had only just opened in Dec last year when we went but they had a fairly decent range (not the Disney Mamouths or Nadia boots I was after tho ) and great prices.

100% worth it. I get a rental car, so I go once on the way to the hotel then again once on the way back to the airport. There is always new stuff that week alter.
It is hit or miss, and itis usually hardest to find medium sizes- most things are in the largest and smallest sizes.
If you are at all interested in pin trading, it is a good place to pick up some pins too
Take a look at the jewlrey/watches in the counter, and also behind the counters there are usually some nice collectibles.

We did Prime and Premium last time (we were there for a month) We got some great things from the Disney Outlets including kids pyjamas for $12 that were still in World of Disney for $30. We were suprised with that one. I love shopping so will probably hit both of those this time aswell.

My family and I always go to the Premium Outlets and the Prime Outlets International, plus always having our own car makes it easier. Anyway when it comes to the Disney Character stores at both locations I always say they are hit and miss, because it depends on what you like. So one person might think they found a lot of great items and someone else might think they had nothing there for them. Also the past few trips my family and I had we have had better luck at their Prime Outlets International location, where as we sometimes bought nothing or very things at the Premium Outlets location.

There are two Disney Outlet stores in the area.

The closest to Disney is Character Premiere in the Premium Outlets right off SR535.

The other store is Character Warehouse in the Prime Outlets at the very end of International Drive. That one is further and would be costly in a taxi. Very easy to get to if you have a rental car.

While you might think each store would be similar, they aren't. There are some things that are duplicated in each store but each store offers many items not available in the other.
