**EDIT: Second half of season seven is here. Back for you guys on Friday. Back in Canada on Monday.**

----------------

I think you guys start tonight, no? We are Sundays in Canada on regular cable, W Network.

For those of you who have read the books please for the love of God tell me we are getting off the damn ridge!🥳😉

(And my apologies if I am stepping on any toes starting this or not going back to a continuation thread.)

Yep, today's the day. I'm getting ready to go on a week-long trip so I'm not going to start. Can't wait though!

I saw the show this morning. No spoilers. Since I think they are combining books I would assume they get off the ridge but not sure how they are merging the books.
Hope it was a good start. I am going to have to slap my hand to not open any chatter between Fridays & Monday.

Well, read the books and watching series...Fraser's Ridge is home isn't it?

Exactly. I LOVED the books but I adore the show as well. I just don’t know how they will wrap it up since the books are still ongoing and Diana has not wrapped anything up.

I think we will get Go Tell The Bees That I'm Gone for the final season. Although she started writing a year ago ...haven't seen a working title for book ten. Maybe they will do a film ala Downton Abbey.

I thought this was the final season. We get one more?! 😎🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Episode one, the conversation between Claire and Tom was just exquisitely beautiful. It really impacted me deeply. I told someone who watches and he said, "It is just a tv show Lisa". 🤭
But the emotional component of it took me aback, it will be a long time until I forget it. The casting director deserves awards for Outlander (well besides one main character. 😁), as the subtlety of the acting in that scene made it quite something.

I did think the conclusion to the storyline, in the beginning of episode two, was far too rushed.

We just finally caught up with Seasons 6 and 7 and we really loved them!

How did I miss this during the summer?!?

I'm really looking forward to the second part of season 7, although they are really rushing through everything. I've been rereading the books to remember more of what they are skipping.

I watched it at 5:30 this morning in my bed. I couldn't wait any longer.

I'll watch it again after work on the bigger screen in my family room.
