Outer Building garden view requests

Hey Everyone,
So we are staying at the GF in september just after school starts. I am doing online check in and trying to figure out which building to request etc. I am going for conference there ( only for 3 days.....staying for 10 days), so staying near the conference isn't a necessity. I will be with two kids ( 5 and 1 ) and i myself am currently pregnant 23 weeks. I have never stayed at GF and would love some input on which buildings to request for views and convenience to monorail/mug refill, etc. We love to walk, so distance isn't really a problem....but mostly would love advice on view. Also, dormer or no? Would like higher up than first floor.

If you are booking GF at a conference rate or through the conference, frequently they have a block of rooms set aside near each other for attendees. If booked on your own then that would not apply. Location requests should be phoned in to attach to your reservation, that is the best way for the assigning CMs to see it. There are not too many options available on the on line check in site, and from what I remember they are fairly general and no where to note anything specific.

My personal pref is a pool view room in Boca Chica and no dormer! Some people like a marina view which I'm sure are nice, I just prefer to be close to pool.
It is a small resort, and no place is too far away.

The conference gave us a code to use, but it was booked through disney and I am managing my stuff through disneyworld.com, so I am using the online check in system which gives me options to choose floor / building/dormer or no, close to elevator etc. Just like any other disney vacation etc that I have done in the past. But not sure if they will put me in a conference room the whole time as the conference is only for a few days.
