Out of pocket

I have the following ADRs scheduled, and will have 4 TS credits to work with.

Dinner@ Mama Melrose
Dinner@ Plaza
Lunch@ T Rex
Dinner@ Kona
Lunch@ Sanaa

Which one should I pay out of pocket for?

In the event I get a breakfast res at 'Ohana (checking every day!), which two?

The Plaza is among the less expensive TS restaurants so that would be my choice for OOP, but it depends on what your family would order at each of the places on your list. Here are links to sites with the menus you can look through to calculate how much you would spend at each restaurant:

Agree with purple. Plaza OOP.

The Plaza is by far your least expensive meals so pay that one out of pocket. It's only a few dollars more than a counter service meal. I hear it's very good, especially for the value when paying out of pocket. It's considered a poor use of a dining credit.

Dinner at Plaza will be cheaper than lunches at TRex or Sanaa?

I have had Plaza for lunch before, OOP, no dining plan then.. the food was great and the price was good as I recall.

Hands down Plaza, we do this every trip since it is way better food than a Counter service but only costs about $10 to $15 more than a counter service!

I will compare TRex and Sanaa lunches to see which should be OOP in case I manage to snag an Ohana breakfast.

Thinking I'll save that credit for Sanaa so I'm not thinking about money on our last day.: )

It depends on what you want to eat. I agree with pp's that The Plaza is the cheapest of the TS restaurants. But, if you are going to T-Rex for lunch and only ordering an appetizer or sharing a meal, then it may be cheaper. I would check he menus out and try to calculate based on what you think you would want to order.

Don't forget you can mix and match with credits vs OOP at the table. Ex. at Trex say 1 adult wants an appetizer only, pay for them OOP and everyone else at the table can use a credit. Then at the plaza say 1 adult wants a more expensive entree and a dessert, use their credit then while everyone else pays OOP.

I think the Lunch and Dinner menu are the same, so that's why.
