Let me first say that I am very excited to be going back to Disney. With that being said let me rant......
I guess I should start from the beginning, I am the commander and chief aka head Disney planner for this trip in Sept. I did not volunteer for this job; my family just assumed I would to it. No problem I love Disney and a planning away I went. Forward ahead six months when payments are due and no one answers their phones. Did I forget to mention that 26 of us are going to see the Mouse? After many phone calls and emails I get the $$$ for the trip. I have planned everything from the airfare (group space on AirTran) to the hotel (three different hotels) to the dining choices. (This one doesn't eat meat, or seafood or pasta...) Get the picture? Do you know how hard it is to get seating for 26? VERY!!!!
Now you might ask why do all of this? Very simple I love Disney and what it represents. Bringing families together. So I just smile and keep planning so that everyone has a wonderful time....That’s all the thanks that I need!
After this crazy but wonderfu trip I will post a trip report. Let the fun begin!

I know what you mean I have been the only one planning our magical gathering in Oct for the last year. I am getting nervous about all the ADR I made, what if they don't like them? But I did get some great encouragment this last week my mother finally called to help plan (3 weeks before our vacation), better later then never. Maybe your famlily will get into the spirit of things when the date gets closer! When are your going? I look forward to hearing about your trip!

I can imagine its hard to get seating for 26 - I have a hard time getting in for 6! Wow, sounds like you had a big job to do, but it seems like you have everything under control. Hopefully, everyone appreciates your efforts. I hope you have a wonderful trip with your family.
