Our Xmas Trip Report

Again its late, I am useless lol

DAY 1 (30TH NOV)

Didnt go to sleep until gone 2am and was back up at 4! All really excited but stressed as had some last minute things to do. DD was sat wearing her tiara and wand shouting im so excited . . . 5am lol. Taxi arrived at 5.15 and started moaning as we had them waiting 10 mins, then gotup road realised I forgot passport (due to taxi moanin i was stressed) they charged me £6 to come back and get it all of a mile round trip

Got to bus depot 5 mins late but coach didnt mind as we had rang and told them. Then sepnt 6am - 9am travelling until we finally stopped and had breakfast muffins. We arrived at dover around 1ish, had to change coaches etc then onboard our 3pm ferry. I usually enjoy the ferry but this time I was feeling a bit sick and dizzy. Had a panic trying to find a memory card for my camera but none would work that we bought onboard

We then spent hours travelling and reached our hotel at 11pm. DD spent all the travel excited and was disappointed Mickey was in bed when we got there. We walked to Mcdonalds and got some food then headed back to bed

DAY 2

We had prebooked cafe mickey for breakfast so was up for 6am. Soon as we got there we had to buy a disposable as I insisted we couldnt go there and not take pics (then i lost the disposable after and it cost 25 euros!) Breakfast was continetal, sausages (they were very pink but appears all the meat here is cooked pink), scrambled eggs, potato cubes and salmon. We saw Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, PLuto, Chip and Dale. We were enjoying it until birds came in and scared DD and the staff said theres nothing they can d about them walking over the laid tables. This point I hurried us up as it made me feel a bit sick thinking the birds could of landed on our prelaid table or food.

We got to the park intime for opening, then wasted a few hours buying a camera! DD done meet and greets with Mickey, Goofy and bumped into Mary Poppins. Then we headed down to Fantasyland. Took DD on the snow white ride and again she came off shaking and refused to go on peter pan or pinocchio. We must of rode the carousels, teacups and small world 5 times each today lol

We went to see snow white show but due to technical difficulties it was cut short so we headed to get some lunch from the place they had the drummers

After lunch we took 3 trips around the top of the casle as dd loved it by this time it was time for MMP show.

After we positioned ourself for the parade. This point I realised my new camera was broke so after went back to the camera shop, meanwhile missing the tree lighting cemermony and castle lighting and fantullision. it amazes me they speak english when selling you an item and not when theres a problem. I was sent to cityhall turns outto palm me off after half hr here nothing was resolved, dd was crying as she could tell i was stressed. I felt sick and dizzy we left here to make our table at Inventions.

I felt so ill from the stress and the way I was treated I ate very little!

We were seated at 8, on a table right near the buffet which overlooked the park, it looked beautiful. DH had about 4 platefuls lol. DD wouldnt touch a thing as she was so excited, chip and dale were fab with her playing games had her in hysterics. We also saw goofy, tiger and minnie. We sat down at 8 andleft gone 10. We took a stroll around the hotel and loved the view out over the park

We got back to the hotel around 11.30pm headed off back to our room, bath and bed all knackered

DAY 3

Up early again as I insisted on EMH. Breakfast was manic at cheyenne, we was only here all of half hour then had some photos taken outside the hotel with Goofy and headed off to the park

Got here about 8.30 tried to take some photos my battery was flat so dh went back to get our charger as we were told by kodak shop when we bought the camera city hall charge it for you. me and dd took a stroll around fantasyland and went to go on buzz. We walked down to the cars and she got upset thinking it was a scary ride (still traumaties from snow white lol) so we left there and went back to meet dh. Went to city hall and theyr refused to charge it so I had to sit next to the camera charging for 2 hours whilst dh took dd on some rides in fantasyland.

At 11.30 we met up and watched the party train and met Minnie.

Then we headed to Auburge for lunch. Doors opened bang on 12. Cinderella is supose to meet you as you enter but she didnt get here until half of us were seated so after we ordered dh took dd to see her for photo etc. The starters were nice but dd wouldnt touch hers through excitement and tbh it wasnt very kid friendly, cheese and tomato on a stick but i enjoyed it.

Susie and Perla spent ages playing with dd on the floor as she wa sin her cinderella dress. We also met ariel, show white, beauty and beast. Beauty and the best danced twice on the dancefloor but we had to get up and walk to the other side of restaurant to see.. Every 15 mins or so the characters disappeared for a 10 min break then came back. We were in here until 2.30 as dd was playing with the mice lol

I had scallops which came with risotto they were lush but small, dh had lamb which he enjoyed. DD had salmon again I ended up eating it lol. she wouldnt even eat her desert lol. Desert platter was yummy. We had drinks included even wine as much as you wanted!

After here we headed to meet Aladdin, we were here first but saw him last. DD was upset people were pushing her over I got annoyed so started elbowing and even kicking them back! Then dh done some rides whilst dd napped, he went on POTC, BTM and indiana jones.

Then we went off to see the parade again, then ran upto near the tree for the tree lighting ceremony. This was beautiful. We stood outside the disney shop opposite the kodak shop. After we went in the shop done some shopping and got warm for half hour then headed down to way MMP time followed by castle lighting. This was again really beautiful. We then had about half hour so went to get warm and ready for fantullision. The first time I saw this and wow

After we headed to cheyenne for our reservation. After we ate we headed into the village for re tail therapy. Got back to our hotel at 11 buthad to change our sheets so didnt get to bed until 1am

DAY 4


We had a lie in today and got up at 8am for breakfast. I wanted to be at the park for 10am but dd wanted meet and greets outside the hotel and as soon as she done 1 they changed characters so we had to get back in the que

We got to the park at 10.30am ish and once again rode the carousel and tea cups lol. I tried to persuade her to let us go on buzz but she wasnt having it.

We then went ot meet and greet with cinderella and prince charming. Cinderella remember dd and said to the prince this is my friend ellie-marie i told you i met yesterday.DD was so chuffed with this and still in her cinderella dress so gave cinderella a chocolate coin.

We then watched the sleeping beauty show then straight round to the snow white show.

We then headed to the studios and had lunch in the ratatouille place, they bought out a plate and when they lifted the lid Ratatouille was under it and he was dancing lol, all the kids loved it.

After lunch we headed to watch stars n cars which was fab. DD got loads of attention of the princess's as she was wearing cinderella dress. She met aladdin and jasmine, snow white, woody and jesse, cruelle de ville. We walked around to see the show but couldnt see a thing so we stood on a bench and got shouted at in french to get down which upset dd as she could hear the princess's singing but couldnt see them so we decided to leave it and do some rides. It started pouring down so we got soaked on the flying carpets. DH and DD went on the cars ride as I dont like it lol

We made a mad dash back to the main park as I insisted I see all the shows for the last time was a bit sad tbh knowing it was my last time

After we took a stroll around the village, as our table for Inventions wasnt until 8.30. I knew I would be sad and didnt want to wallow in our room so wanted to see some characters 1 last time This time we met Minnie, Eeyore, Pinocchio, Dee and Dum?, Chip, Dale, Tiger. We didnt leave her until 10.30 went to the shops 1 last time then back to the hotel for bed

DAY 5:

I didnt want to get up I was so tired but got out of bed at 8.30, ready for breakfast. We were getting picked up to come home at 10.30 so we done the last character greets outside the hotel. This time it was Goofy and Chip and Dale. DD qued up 3 times this time lol. Goofy was pretending she was a pillow and she still tells anyone who will listen now!

10.30am we got loaded on the coach, spent the whole day travelling. All tired and sad to be going home. We finally got home at 11.30pm!
