We are annual passholders, and normally stay somewhere close, and enjoy the parks for a short weekend. This time, since it was a long holiday weekend, we decided to step it up and stay onsite. we got a reasonable rate of $180 plus tax and parking.
We arrived at 8am, and checked in. Our room was not ready, so we got our express passes and headed to the parks. We were called at 11:30 and given room 1510. The room location was fine, and the room was nice, although smaller than average.
Overall, I would rate this hotel as "nice" or "slightly above average". Other hotels will give you a lot more for your money in the room department. You are paying for park access here.
The pool area is wonderful, and the grounds are fantastic. Ice water out by the pool, is a nice touch. The boat service worked well.
Our only real complaint was being rudely awakened at 1am by the pro-creative stylings of the couple next door. I will not share any more details, but I would expect better sound proofing in a hotel of this level.
We had a nice time, and I would stay here again, if we can get a good rate.
