My wife and I got married at Disney's Wedding Pavilion in August 2006 with close family attending. We decided on using Disney photography and having the photos on CD so that I could create a DVD show of our wedding and get it exactly how I wanted it.

It was a lovely wedding, and the Disney photographer captured some great pics, and i've turned the DVD into a downloadable file for anyone who would like to see the photos from the wedding ceremony.

To see our special day, click on the link below! I've created it as an executable for download and its 28MB in size (should take a couple of minutes to download on a broadband connection)

Please bear in mind I've reduced the quality to keep the show to a reasonable size for downloading, and I've edited out some personal details from some photos. It has some fitting music accompanying it, so turn your speakers on!

The good thing with doing the DVD after the event was I could spend the time to get it how I wanted, I didn't have to pay "pro photography prices", and I could incorporate some photos from guests cameras as well (I just scanned them in and cleaned them up a bit).

If you have any questions about our intimate wedding please feel free to post a question or send me a private message. I'd also appreciate your feedback on the show i've created.

Thanks WDW Traveler.

Your online slideshow of Haillie at Disney is also very good.
Do you edit your photos onto DVD too, or just online?

I just watched your DVD and I must say I'm impressed, for one I love black and white pictures, it's very elegant, and the music choice is perfect. It looked like it was a beautiful wedding. You both look wonderful together.
On another note, I wondered how you found the weather for getting married in August? We are getting married on Aug 20th and I'm concerned about the heat, we are also outside, Sea Breeze Pointe. Did you or your wife have a problem with this?

Thanks for sharing your show!

Thanks for the feedback!! The Disney photography was all in colour and i wanted some black and white so I used some editing tools to change them, and to produce the softness effects on the intro.

Regarding the weather, i don't know if you have been to FL before, but August is HOT and VERY humid! I've been to FL many years between June and September, and its always hot these months, and the weather can be unpredictable, so it can be glorious sun one minute and rainy the next!

We were going to get married in the rose garden at first, but switched to the Pavilion due to the heat - we thought it might be VERY hot dressed up. We also thought that if it ended up being bad weather it would be ok in the Pavilion too - in the outdoor venues they may move you to an inside venue in the event of really bad weather, which isn't always as glamerous!

I'm not trying to put you off having a wedding at Sea Breeze - it looks a lovely spot for your wedding. I'm just trying to pass on what thought process we went through when deciding a location.

I believe Sea Breeze Pointe does have shade, so it won't be anything like as hot as standing directly in the sun! And Disney staff will do everything in their power to make sure you have a lovely, memorable day!! Looking at your post, you are getting married at 10am, so it shouldn't be as hot as it can be in the afternoon, and its more likely not to be rainy (like it usually is in the afternoon), so i shouldn't worry too much!

Just don't let the weather rule your day - enjoy the day for what matters most, your marriage to each other!! Its no big deal really, as long as you know the weather can be a bit unpredictable, and is usually very hot and humid!

If you want to ask me anything else please feel free to on here, or private message me. I'll try to help in any way i can. And please let me know how your wedding went! If you want your photos editing onto DVD i'm sure we can work something out! I see you may be using Randy Chapman, so he may well be able to do you a nice DVD of your photos too!

Have a fantastic day in August!!

:)

Thanks for viewing my video! I only did it online that one time to try it out. I was actually on the hunt for some software that would allow me to add music to my pictures to try and do it on DVD, but I haven't been actively looking, plus at first I was looking for free software/programs. I haven't found anything yet, but hope to still look. We have over 400 pictures from our Photopass CD and over 700 digital prints. My scrapbook would be WAY too big even using half of those pictures! LOL
