Our WDW trip report: Part 1- Let the disasters begin!

Just wanted to say thanks for the report but am so sorry about your son getting sick. It is awful when someone is sick while on vacation, especially a child at WDW. Also wanted to tell you your family photo is great. Your son is adorable!! My son is now 12 and a half and seeing photos of little guys remind me of him, oh how I miss that age. Here's wishing a healthier trip next time for you!!

Thanks, I think he is too I'm STILL trying to get part two to post, and if I can ever get that, part three will have some happier reports! We simply consider this trip a pre-WDW trip, just to get our feet wet and know what to expect. I think that with our knowledge and the expectations for disaster, our next trip will be great! (and much longer, never again will we do a short trip with a kid!)

ETA- thanks you too, disgirl! I dread the day my son is no longer my baby, and hes getting closer everyday! That's what new babies are for though, right?

You know....it may have been the water. I'm not an expert on water and the different bacterias etc. that are in different regions....but Florida water really makes me ill....I avoid water and even ice cubes when I'm in Florida, just in case. It's probably not "bad" necessarily, but just different than what you may be used to........

Oh my God, I am soooo sorry about your son getting sick! I hate that. My baby was sick a few days before we left, but it was only the one time and she got better fast. However I was so worried about it happening again!

glad you maganed to have a good time. I know how that is "we are ok for now, but what should be do" kind of feeling.

I was thinking the same thing about my trip report since the times viewed isn't working lately. People started posting when they read it and it helped, so I am making a point to post when I read to let them know.

I know what you mean about OKW, and keep in mind we like BCV even better (if OKW is good, imagine they have 4 other DVC on prop and 2 off.)

Yeah, I read that in another part of my trip report- I don't think it was that, only because the pain was so familiar to what I had had so many times before with my gal bladder, and I drank it the rest of the time with no problems, as did my husband. I'll have to pay close attention next time and see if that's it...
