Our waitlist came through! Chef's table, that is!

I was so bummed when I called right at the 180 day mark and couldn't get Chef's Table at V&A for any of the 9 days of our trip. This was to be the final part of our 45th anniversary celebration including our adult children. We "settled" for the Queen's Room, but Saturday I got a call from V&A saying they had a cancelation for the 17th, so we got the Chef's Table!!!!

We are doing it up with formal wear and everything and doing photos. Not really a DVC related thing other than that we are staying at our AKV home, but I had to share with people who would understand our excitement!

We're together 45 years this year too! Our celebration was the EBTA that we took in May.

How exciting! We are eating at V and A on the 16th. It's taken me forever to talk DH into wearing a jacket! Don't think I could ever talk him into formal wear... he he.

Enjoy! We'll be slightly dressed up at the Merry Mixer. I'll be wearing red sequined top and dressy black pants. I love to dress up, and of course have a husband who hates it.

Excellent news.... We dined in the Queen Victoria's Room for our 25th Anniversary last month (our Chef's Table wait list didn't come through). Congratulations...

Congratulations!!! I remember when you posted about your disappointment in not getting it. Hoping some of your pixie dust spreads this way, but so far nothing between December 10th and 14th has come through on the wait list. But if we end up on December 11th at the Queen Victoria room celebrating 10 years of marriage we'll survive.
