Our very First Walt Disney Vacation!!

Just joining in... glad you joined TGM. I think it will help you plan your days... and tour the most.
POR is a great resort... we love it! As for your meals:
Whispering Cayon- we ate there last time... loved it. It was lots of fun and good food. Plus a trip to the WL is fun what a place.

Ohana's is a great last meal too. Fun fun fun!

Looking forward to hearing more. Could you switch your Boma meal to a meal at AK?
That would help you not have such a late start there.

Thank you so much for joining in!
Glad to hear you love POR. I am actually thinking of calling tonight...is there somewhere you would suggest in AK?
Thanks, off to check out your report...it's so close!, you must be getting anxious.

You are right I do! It's very time consuming though...and i'd get more accomplished if I could just stay away:lmao:
Thanks for that info about POR but is that something I can request with a family of 5? or is that a diffferent area...i'm not too familiar with that yet.
Thanks again!

not sure, when we stayed there the rooms accomodated 4,
are they giving you a daybed for the fifth person??

Count me in.
No it's not too early for a PTR.
I started mine several months ago.:rolleyes1
It has helped me escape from reality and all it's stresses.

So glad you get to finally go to WDW as a family.
LOVE your attitude about DH's health.
That says a lot about your character.:thumbsup2

Your family is beautiful.
We will just miss each other.
We are going in Sept. and staying at the POP.
We'll be leaving as you are checking in.
I think a couple of our days overlap.

Let's help the time go by with our PTR and all the planning.:surfweb:

Thank you so much for joining. I will be joining yours too and hopefully getting some ideas;) . I'll post my sisters family pic soon, who knows there is a small chance you may just run into them at POP during those last few days!
It's amazing how quickly time does go. I'm actually glad I still have a few months as it feels like there is still so much planning to do. Have you signed up with TGM? Well thanks again for the message, i'm off to check out your itinerary!!:)

Just joining and am excited for your first trip. Magnoia Bend rooms do not sleep a family of 5. You'll have to request Alligator Bayou section, which is great. Your two girls can share a bed and your DS can have his own trundle bed. That's what we did when we stayed there.
As far as planning rides and things, we have planned what parks on what days based on EMH's. When we get to our park destination for the day, we then start fast passing rides. So, talk to your kids and decide what rides are absolute have toos and go from there. I would plan 2 days at MK. That way you won't feel rushed to get it all done in one day. There is so much to do and see. Check out the website allearsnet.com. They have great tips on everything possible, reviews and menus of all the restaurants, and planning tips.

I am finally joining in!:goodvibes Sorry it took so long! Your family is beautiful! You are going to have a GREAT trip! I am glad you jooined TGM his sight is soooo helpful! That's good to know! I think the shows/parades/fireworks will be so wonderful but sometimes the thought of the crowds & the wait time doesn't seem appealing...but I know it's definately worth it.

Wow what incredible airfare!:thumbsup2 that is great!:goodvibes

I know i'm still so excited about our flight prices!! Amazing, considering we would of spent more to drive the 20ish hours.

Hi! :)
Just found your PTR. We are going at the same times but I will be at POFQ.

I will be at Mama Melrose the same evening as your family too! We are eating at 5:20 I think. I'll look for you!

Don't forget starting on the 26th in Epoct is the Food and Wine Festival. You should definatley check it out one of those nights. They even have concerts! We are planning on going to "eat around the world" on Sat night. (DH will "drink" around the world!)

I'm back:cool1:

We have been so busy finishing up activities that I have only been on the computer a bit. I still haven't been able to do as much as I would of liked to get ready for Disney but I am able to say I am about to put more $ towards our trip and will only owe $500:dance3: . Our trip isn't due until Aug.6th but I hate always thinking about owing $ and just wanted to pay it off as quickly as possible. That gives us extra time to save lots of spending $ :thumbsup2 .

Our itinerary has changed a little (ofcourse) but i'm hoping I finally have it right.

I'm also hoping to purchase a new camera, still have to pre-order the photopass and already have our pedicure/manicures booked!!
We are definately making our mousekeeping envelopes this weekend & looking for new bathing suits for the girls. Back soon....

Your lists look great!! You will love Ohana, we ate their on our last night and LOVED it! Yay for Disney shopping and mani's/pedi's!!:thumbsup2

The Food & Wine Festival sounds absolutely wonderful, especially if we weren't there with kiddies. But with three kids in tow & it being our first trip we are staying clear of Epcot during the festival just to avoid the crowds etc. Very neat that we may see eachother at Mama Melrose though! I'm sure we'll still be there at that time, probably just finishing. Our family of 5 & my sister and her crew, you'll have to say hello!!

I'm very excited to try 'Ohana & think it's probably a great last night! Hopefully i'll still have $ left over for the disney shopping at that point, lol. I'm sad your report is about to end...now it's time to start a new pre-trip!?!? lol. I wish you were there at the same time as us, I think you would be a great person to meet in person!!:)

You have a beautiful family. And I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time. There's so much to do for every age group. It should be fun to have your sister's family along too!

Your plans look great! I have changed mine back & forth many times.
