Our very First Walt Disney Vacation!!

I'm very excited that I am so close to being able to actually do a trip report!

I am really close to being ready to go. I think I have everything purchased other than ponchos. I still need to type out our touring plans and some info & I think that is finally it. Time has went fast but we are definately ready to go on this vacation. We are so use to going away in the summer months that it's been strange watching everyone else go away and we are patiently waiting.

We were able to change our arrival flight from 5:40 pm to 8ish am & our departure flight from 8ish am to 6ish pm ...that gives us time to add in a few things we thought we might miss out on. We were all so happy about our flight changes.

I am getting a little nervous about telling the teachers & principal about the vacation. But i'm hoping they are all understanding. I do think this family time away is just as beneficial as classroom work. They have never missed before due to vacation, only the odd sick day so hopefully it shouldn't matter.

Very excited to fly too, it may sound silly but it's Brady, Casslyn & Brenna's first time flying and I can't wait!!

congratulations on the flight times! What a difference. I'm hoping that AirTran doesn't play with our times too much more but who knows?

Good luck with the telling the teachers - let us know how it goes. Our boys start school on Tuesday and I'm trying to figure out the best time to tell their teachers. Originally, they were only going to be missing 1/2 hr the first day and then 3 more, but, now they're missing 1/2 day the first day and 3 more. I'm hoping the teachers understand how much we need to do this trip after our last year.

Are you at all ready? I haven't done ANY packing. Lots of purchases in bags all around my house. We'll see how much actually makes it to Fl!

I'll keep my eyes out for your beautiful family. If you see a hot, tired looking woman screaming the name Brady it's not for your DS, it's probably me trying to get control of my toddler who wants nothing to do with hand-holding!

LOL, about Brady! Toddler/Teenager...i'm thinking we'll both be screaming the name Brady quite a bit,

I started packing and OMG, I really didn't realize it would be so much. It's a work in progress , luckily I still have a few days.

I think we may run into you at DHS/Mama Melrose, I think you come in after us.

Are you guys going to the mnsshp? We weren't going to go but my sisters daughter has to do some extreme food eliminations after our trip due to food allergies, she'll miss out on Halloween at home this year, so my sister has decided we should go!!! I'm so excited.

It's almost time!!! Packing can be so stressful for me. As the mom, I have to remember to make sure that everyone else has what they need on top of what I need. I've forgotten underwear, saline solution, socks, toothbrushes, you name it. Its been forgotten.
