We arrive in Orlando on Oct. 3 @ noon and depart on Oct. 13 @ 5:30pm.
Here's what I thought our schedule would look like:

Oct 3 -
Arrive @ noon
Get car rental
Stop at travel centers to get additional coupons & info
Have lunch? (if we have time haha)
Get to CPGV - check-in (if ready - 4pm)
Dinner & walk-around at Downtown Disney.

Oct 4 - Animal Kingdom (full day)

Oct 5 - Magic Kingdom (full day)

Oct 6 - MGM (full day)

Oct 7 - Epco (half day) + Hallowe'en party at MK

Oct 8 - relax day - shopping

Oct 9 - Seaworld

Oct 10 - Universal

The last days... either well have some spare days in case it rays on other days or just plain old relax and unwind :-)

If it were me I would start with Universal/Sea World and end with Disney. Or even put the Universal/Sea World in the middle of the week to begin and end with Disney.

I'm sure some would say you don't have enough time for Epcot but honestly we never spend much time there either. I do want to but until our child is older I will spend the extra time in MK.

We were at Disney a few years back (2003). We weren't amazed by Epcot....
It was nice, but that's not the reason we are going back to Disney, if you get my point :-)

Yes, I thought about starting with Seaworld/Universal...now we are even thinking about adding Discovery Cove. Since it's our honeymoon, this would be an incredible experience!! We'll see... it's A LOT of moula.

Why would you suggest starting with Seaworld? to keep the disney motivation up? hehe.

I think your half day (morning?) at EPCOT will cause you to miss the Food & Wine Festival. If you are only going to do a half day I'd say go to Animal Kingdom at opening, ride the rides, see the shows, be done by 2pm...go back to your hotel for a couple hours then head back out to EPCOT shooting to arrive by 5pm....ride what rides you can and then nosh and ride your way around the World Showcase. They have special sample sized dishes sold from carts during F&W and a morning visit just won't cut it.

Using a full days ticket on a date where you will have to buy an extra ticket (MNSSHP day) doesn't seem an effective use of your dollars either. I'd take that day to relax, shop or whatever then go to the party in the evening. Then I'd use the spare ticket on one of your other days to hit the things you missed but wanted to do in all four parks...or things you want to do a second time.

AK usually closes at 5 or so. We normally go to DTD or hop to Epcot to finish the night with a stroll around WS and see Illuminations - great place to eat dinner too.
Oct 8 - relax day - shopping
If you want to see SpectroMagic, you may want to plan the evening at MK, as many times in the fall, Spectro is only shown on weekends, mainly Saturday.
some spare days in case it rains on other days
I love it when people leave the parks when it rains - makes it less crowded for me! LOL

Enjoy your trip!

Oh I didn't know they had different times in the fall....
Oh boy, where can I find all this info!?!?!

Thanks for all your feedback!
