Our UnFORGETtable summer trip! A June TR:Update 10/24 Animal Kingdom!

You got some really good pics on the safari! I really like the one of the giraffe getting a drink.

Gotta love Tusker House for breakfast - especially that juice, yum!!

Thanks Michelle! I like that one too. I felt bad for him though...so much work to just get a drink!

We really enjoyed the breakfast there. Yummy juice-there and 'Ohana-mmm good!

I always enjoy safari pictures. That's a good one of the rhino. :thumbsup2

We were lucky on this last trip and got to see both lions up, and the male was roaring. Very cool!

I am super jealous of your lion experience!!!! One day I will see them up!!!! Guess it is just a good excuse to keep going back over and over again.:rolleyes1

I love how she's looking up at Goofy in this one! :goodvibes EE twice in a row, followed by Primeval Hurl?! Wow! We really want to try Tusker House breakfast, it always gets such great reviews.

Great updates from DHS and AK! You got a lot done and had some great photos. Good for Ellie braving RnR. My DD wants to try it this trip. I really want to do on EE and DS says he's going to give a a try too. Another hot day for your family...hope you're heading to the Rapids.

I noticed her look too! I think he'd just been messing with her hair or something so she wasn't trusting him.

Primeval HURL...LOVE it!
Luckily, neither Ben nor I get sick on that stuff but I didn't like how Primeval jerked you.

We really enjoyed Tusker House so I hope you give it a try!

Thanks on the photos! We do get a lot done despite the heat...we do hit the rapids at some point but I'm pretty sure it wasn't next. School has had me so busy I haven't even had time to look at my pictures.:sad2:

I hope you ride EE!! It was one of my faves.:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

I am seriously running out of time to get this trip report done before my next trip. So, I am going to do it mostly through pictures and just finish it up. I hardly remember the order we did anything in anyways!
I really enjoy reading TR's but I am not sure that writing them is for me!
I left off at Animal Kingdom and will finish that up.

I posted to FB and caught up on emails/texting while at this show. Not a fan of birds but it was pretty cool.

We found a spot to watch the parade. We had never seen it before. I'm glad we did but we probably won't go out of our way to watch it again. Ellie got a tattoo while we were waiting. It becomes a source of conversation in the parade and at Camp Minnie Mickey.

We left after seeing these friends. We were hot! I'm sure the rest of the evening involved swimming and more time in the community hall at OKW.

Monday we went to Sea World during the day.
John and Ben rode this.

Ellie and I went here.

Manatees. They were having a science summer camp thing and brought lettuce out for those kids to feed them. The other kids, Ellie included, were very sad that they didn't get to feed them. I didn't see what the harm would be for the kids to throw in the lettuce but the employees guarded the lettuce like it was treasure. Whatever.

That night we went to DTD. We were just going to eat at Wolfgang Puck when the kids spied T-Rex. We figured there'd be no way we'd get a table but they sat us right away. It was neat in there but not anywhere I'd go every trip.

Tuesday we went to Aquatica-the water park across from Sea World. We get into Sea World and Aquatica for free with our Busch Gardens passes so John likes to go to this water park instead of Disney's. It was nice and I actually like it better than the one here at home. I actually have no pictures...sorry!!

Tuesday afternoon we went back to OKW and got ready for a dinner John was really looking forward to.
Off we went.

Did you say you were going real soon?!?
Yep, we will see you! Can't wait!!!

I can't wait either! I see that you are a whole week closer than me too!! I wish we were there together longer but will be glad to just finally get to meet you in person!:goodvibes

Nothing wrong with just pictures! I love it! Of course I love the storyline too, but I sooooo understand real life. :goodvibes

Wonderful AK pictures! The bat ones literally made me shiver! I have yet to go see them at AK, but I really want to. Everyone says it's a great exhibit!

How was Sea World? I really want to take Henry there, but I think we might wait a couple years yet (he's 3, maybe age 5 or 6 would be best?).

Great Pop pictures too! We plan to do that this trip, or go over to the All Stars and visit all the various icons. They are such fun resorts!

I totally love the storyline too...on other people's trip reports!:rotfl: It's going to be a miracle if I even get this thing done with just pictures...:rolleyes1

Go see the bats-they are totally cool. I think they are my favorite thing to see. Just so fascinating.

Sea World is ok, worth a trip every now and again. This was our 2nd time and the kids got much more out of it at 7 and 9 than they did when they were 3 and 5 so waiting for Henry to be a bit older is a good idea.

I want to get to the All Stars too at some point. Then my kids will want to stay there too probably! I also want to hit up some moderates. We might do some of that in a couple of weeks to stay out of the crowded parks during the afternoons. I highly recommend visiting Pop though-such a VERY cool place!

Great pictures!
Nice way to start my Saturday morning. :goodvibes

We've been in T-Rex a couple of times just for shopping purposes. I want to eat there sometime, but Brooklynn is not fond of loud noises, and it seems a little louder for longer and more intense than Rainforest Cafe. Maybe in another year, she'll have outgrown it. I don't think we have to worry about Bella. She'll be trying to ride the dinosaurs, and there will be no fear of them.

Nice cursive, Ellie. :thumbsup2
Love the picture. Did you bring it home?

Look at those two pretending they are little angels just so Santa will be extra good to them this year! ;)

Pictures wll be required. You guys have a great time!

Great Pop pictures too! We plan to do that this trip, or go over to the All Stars and visit all the various icons. They are such fun resorts!

If you can only do one All Star, go to Movies. Henry will love the Toy Story stuff, and there is a cute Dalmatians TV scene where he can be in the TV. I like it when we stay at the All Stars, because I have los of photo ops on my morning walks, since they are just a parking lot away from each other.

Resort hopping is so fun. If you get to POR/POFQ, take the walk along the river between the two. It's a pretty and peaceful walk, and it's short.

I hope you do get over to Pop, Brook. Henry will love the kiddie pool.
If the weather is warm enough in March, that could be the place to meet. :)

Nice cursive, Ellie. :thumbsup2
Love the picture. Did you bring it home?
No, we didn't bring it home. They hung it up in the OKW community hall. It was still there the night before we left. I should've thought to go in and ask for it because I am sure it just got thrown away. But, she enjoyed seeing it displayed.

LOL! Pretending is right! No, actually they get along fairly well compared to some other sibling sets I know. Ben still "believes", which is an odd thing for his age around here. So, I am looking forward to most likely this last year of magic with him.

That is just what I was thinking too MeMom - on both counts! Henry would LOVE the Toy Story section, I have only ever seen a couple pictures of it all (probably on one of your TRs! :goodvibes), and just from the bit I saw, I knew he'd love it.

And I LOVE your idea of a Pop meet. Kiddy Pop Jet Meet at the Pop. I like it. ::yes:: And I reallyyyyyyy hope it's warm enough. I know the weather can still be iffy then. We haven't been over to Pop since the time we stayed there for one night way back in 2008. Even then Henry was pretty fond of the kiddy pool though!

If it's not warm enough for swimming I also really like your idea of the Nemo meet in Epcot. :thumbsup2 All the DIS kids hanging out there would be adorable.

Okay - done hijacking the TR! :flower3:

Hey Stacy, just thought I'd check in and see how you are doing on your countdown! It's getting close....

Hey Stacy, just thought I'd check in and see how you are doing on your countdown! It's getting close....

Hi Anita!
It is getting very close! We're so busy with school and Christmas that it seems to be sneaking up on us!!

You've only got 4 days left, huh??? Think of me as I trudge through 3 whole days of school next week...aaaack!!!

Our last day with the kids is tomorrow, then a work day on Friday to get grade cards done. Mine are all entered into the online gradebook, just waiting on the specials teachers to get their grades in then push print and we are in business!
I'll get my Jan. calendar up, the Christmas taken down and be ready for the new semester before we leave on Friday. Oh yea, we get to go 1 hour early! LOL!!!
I hope you have a fun week planned for your last 3 days!
