We Are Staying At The Pors 11/28/06 To 12/05/06 I Payed For A Waterview Room From What I Read Is This Really Worth The Extra Money? Also What Should We Definitely See? Have Been There Twice Before. 95 All Star Sports 06 Pop Century

We stayed there back in 1996, when it was still Dixie Landings and we had a waterview room, which overlooked the fountain in the backside of Magnolia Bend. The best part about the room since it faced the backside, it was nice and quiet. We really loved this resort and hope to stay there again.

As far as what to see, this is also our first trip during the holiday season (we arrive on 12/1) and are planning to do MVMCP, Candlelight Proc, Osborne lights and also tour the hotels for the various decorations. Who knows when we'll come back over the holidays, so I want to try and see everything :teeth: .

Enjoy!

IMHO waterviews at moderate resorts are a total waste of money. You don't have a balcony and you will probably have to keep your curtains closed most of the time anyway because people will be walking past your room. If seeing the water when you leave or enter your room is important, then go for it.
