Our trip to our "Happy place" w/ pics & videos!!*new 7/7!!*Last day Magic Kingdom**

dismom9761;20797027 It hit her and she fell hard to the ground.:sad1: At first she just lay there in obvious pain and after a couple of minutes I got her to a bench with the help of a nice woman who saw what had happened. [COLOR="Red" said:
OUCH!!!![/COLOR]

Ten minutes into the show Rebekah started saying she needed to use the restroom.Like a good mama I told her to hold it.She was quiet for a few minutes but then started to cry that she was going to wet her pants.:scared: I whispered to GM what was going on and we headed to the exit.A CM said something about rain but we didn’t stop to talk.I opened the door and it wasn’t raining but storming.:scared1: I could barely see in front of me it was raining so hard.I grabbed Bekah’s hand and ran in the direction I thought the bathroom might be.I found the bathroom and there were people huddled in the entryway.

Man, isn't that how it always is....at least you found the bathroom in the pouring rain no less

I found the stroller,it had been moved, and inspected the damage.Rebekah and Peyton’s autograph books were fine in their ziploc bags but Rachel’s must have not been sealed completely because it was soaked.:sad1:

I would have cried!!!! seriously:sad:

:offtopic: as you know I'm a huge scrapbooker. Last Oct in our new house we flooded in our basement, of course we still hadn't finished un-packing and at least half my supply was completely ruined. As sorting thru it the weeks after in the dinning room, drying it out, DS asked DH "why is Mama crying?"

I"M SO GLAD you could salvage it...:goodvibes

Here is a pic of what GM's ankle looked like after about thirty minutes. The next day it was much more swollen and purple and extremely bruised. The bruising eventually went all the way to the knee.:sad1:

Megga OUCH!!!

Didn't get the pic of you on the rapids ride copied right, but my response is: Ok this is why I don't ride water rides.....

My own GM had a favorite saying: "Into every life, a little rain must fall."

Ah that should be added to Disney=waiting in line, wet, in your stuck on yellow poncho with crying kids....JK It's all GOOD:rolleyes1

Love the report still Amy!:thumbsup2

OMG poor GM!!!

So sad to hear 1 of the books got soaked :(
HI!Make sure you take care of your books......

Poor GM. That must have hurt so bad.
HI!It did.:sad2:

ouch that looked painful!! I fell on a hill in wet grass back in march and my ankle looked very similar to that. One little fall turned into 3 months of PT and wearing one of those "darth vador" walking boots. Needless to say when we went to WDW in May I was still not 100% and my brother decided it would be fun to run me back and forth across all the parks (and i wanted to hurt him lol)
OH NO! Bad Brother!:scared: My mom spent several months in hospitals/bed bound-she is one tough lady.:goodvibes

lovin the report subing for updates
HI! Welcome!Glad your enjoying...:goodvibes

You have to ride the water rides!:woohoo: They are a blast and it felt so good in the heat.:thumbsup2 I could have cried when I saw the book but I had enough to deal with.:) I hate to hear about your scrapbook stuff, that must have been awful.

GM'a ankle looks terrible, poor thing!! And Rachel's autograph book :sad1: can't replace that. :grouphug:
No I couldn't replace the book but she still has it and it is still one of her favorite momentos.:goodvibes

I am really enjoying your trip report. You kids are adorable. I hope your mother's foot got better fast. What a bummer to get hurt at WDW. :sad1:

Thanks for the update. I know how hard that rain came down.
We were at Epcot with a bunch of people hiding in the.....bathroom. I guess that is the place to be during rainstorms.;)

Oh No.....I am sorry to see GM ankle. Hopefully she took it easy??????

Can't wait to read on
Debbie

HI! I am going to ask him tomorrow when he comes over...

Okay this will probably be a short one, DH is home and pouting....

Animal Kingdom

I got GM the wheelchair and when I get back to them Rachel is asleep in her stroller.:woohoo: That will make for an easier day for all.GM has taken some pain meds and says it is already feeling better but that is hard to judge because she is so worried about ruining our day.:sad2: We make the trek to Pizzafari with Peyton pushing GM and I know people were looking at me like:mad: for making a little boy push a wheelchair but he insisted on doing it.

We get to Pizzafari and I ask the kids what they want.Okay, I won't rant much in this report but the kids' menu made no sense at all! There is no pizza offered on that menu which is crazy. What kid wants to sit next to a parent and watch them eat pizza and he can't?:furious: Well obviously mine do.:rolleyes1 I was more than willing to get them a pizza OOP but they both wanted the Quesadillas.:confused3 I got a pizza and the breadsticks(a snack credit)so that I would have enough food to share with Rachel when she woke up.GP got a sandwich that he liked and our food was really good too. We take our time eating and cooling off and discuss what we should do.

Much to Peyton's relief GM refuses to leave. There are still things on our must do list that we haven't done and this is our only day at AK.
( We were on our way to Asia when Peyton spotted something, parked GM, and ran to see it)
Disney2007184.jpg

We leave Pizzafari(Rae is still asleep)and walk toward Asia for flights of Wonder and EE.We still have two sets of FPs and a babyswap to use!:woohoo:
We stop at the Flights of Wonder first because it is the last show.
Disney2007185.jpg

In fact Rebekah and Peyton step in just as they close the curtain but GM and GP are in the bathroom right next to it.:scared1: I am afraid GM may need me so I wait outside the bathroom with Rae and keep calling in to see if she needs help.:teeth: Sweet revenge for when she embarrassed me in bathrooms as a kid.:rotfl2: By the time they came out, the CM had closed the show .I snuck around the curtain and asked a CM if I could sit in the back to watch over my kids.Of course she said it was fine They thoroughly enjoyed this show and was glad they finally were able to see it.:goodvibes

uh oh an anxiety attack  that is not good.

I am glad GM says she is doing better but is it really an act?? curious yes I am.

Great update.

Have a good night.

WOW You are fast!:scared1: Thanks so much for reading:goodvibes

Yeah I think its an act too.

Hi! DS got up early this morning and I read the whole thing!! I'm in!!:cool1:

 Hi Amy,

No pizza on the kids menu at Pizzafari :confused3 Luckily your kids preferred the other choices anyway!

Ok, I have to say that your GM :rockband:
That ankle looked so painful and yet she trekks on, way to go to GM!

And what was it that Peyton saw that he decided to leave GM and park her on the side of the road? :rotfl: ;)

Flights of Wonder looks neat. I think my 4 year old would like that!
