Our trip to Marcelline, Mo

We took a little side trip to Marcelline the other day... It was very cool!! The Walt Disney Museum is very nice and it is obvious that it was done with with great care and respect for him... I took a few pics...

This is his boyhood home... It has been redone on the outside but the lady who was his inspiration for Tinkerbell now owns it... According to the gentleman at the Museum, she has taken great care in keeping his Walt and Ruth's rooms much the same as they were...

Walt's Dreaming Tree... Unfortunately a few years ago it was struck by lightning and then hit by a deep freeze... It is not long for this world...

Walt's Happy Place... A group of volunteers got together and rebuilt the barn that he used to tinker in...
