TRIP REVIEW Our trip started last Wednesday we stayed at the Caribbean Beach Resort, once we landed we walked right over the Magical Express buss check in area were we were quickly placed on the right bus and in a matter of 10 mins were on our way to the hotel.
Check in at CBR was swift and prompt, with no hassles and took all of 5 minutes.
Our room was ok, nothing to brag about, there were some small mold spots on the ceiling and walls in the bathroom,
the TV did not come in well, and the bed sounded like we were going to end up crashing onto the floor, a call to maintain took care of the bed and TV issues.
WED:-- night whispering cannon for dinner, Fair at best, unless you like smoked food it is not for you, 2 of us had the ribs, they were a little dry but ok my wife had the Prime Rib, once again smoked, to point it tasted like Ham. Daughter ordered off kids Mac & cheese,
THUR: -- we spent the day at the Magic Kingdom had a great day no lines at all. Had lunch at the Crystal palace,
Food was great, service was fine would do this again no problem. Highly suggest this, Went to the MNSSHP at night what a crowd when we were there in 2005 there was about ½ the people that were there this night. Had fun parade and fireworks were awesome.
Fri: Animal Kingdom - Everest is all that people say it is we went on it 4 times in a little over a hour, did counter service for lunch and went to the Grand Floridian Café for dinner, Very good,
food was great, staff was friendly, with a 9 year old daughter would prob have chosen to have dinner in the other room there with the charters but this is what happens when you book dinner reservations a little late. Sat: Epoct -- lunch in Canada at the famous steak house
, I had reservations about this one , after hearing mixed reviews We loved it great lunch steaks were done to perfection, lunch tab for 3 adults and 1 child was $ 180.00 ,.would do it again . Test track once again brook down after we waited almost an hour in line, and was down for the rest of the day, Nemo is an awesome show.Sun.: MGM --Fantasmic, is what you can call our day here, ate at Momma Leona’s { I think that was what it is called }
seated right away food was plentiful and very nice, lots of great choices. Mom: Typhoon Lagoon, then to Chief Mickey’s a favorite of my wife, loves the buffet we were sat at a table towards the rear of the near the windows as we leaned back you could see the fireworks over the castle.
NOTES: it was our sons 18th birthday and at 2 Restaurant's it was right there on the slip that it was a 18th birthday and not once did they even say Happy Birthday , non the less anything more,which was a big suprise... great deal with meal plan, bus's ran on time, Over all a great time weather was fine, bus got us right back to airport about 2 hours before our flight ,Feel free to e-mail me with any questions,, { we did use tour giude mike for our park planning }
