Our trip is less than 3 weeks away

I can't wait. Our first family vacation with the mouse is only 19 days away. I thought it would never get here. My kids are flying on cloud nine and counting down the days on their little chalk board in their bedroom. Yah. I wish we could afford more than an allstar resort but I am just so happy to be going at all.

The Allstars have great themeing and the kids will really enjoy the Disney feel of the resorts. These are great first trip resorts and while you are there you can go look at a few resorts to see where you want to stay the next time you are able to go.

Oh, boy, don't be bummed that you're staying at an All Star, that's where we stayed for our first trip in May and that's where we're staying again for our 2010 trip. I loved it!!! There was just so much to look at.

We stayed at Movies and next year we'll be trying out Music. Can't wait!!!

Sorry to sound that way. I am super excited and really it doesn't matter where we stay but I would like to stay at one of the other resorts at another time but I don't think I could justify the cost. My family won't really know the difference. WE will visit the other resorts while there and that should be good enough. We live paycheck to paycheck and I have worked alot of extra hours this summer just to be able to go and have a wonderful time with my children. I can't believe it is almost here.

For your first trip you'll be so busy enjoying everything else, you'll barely be at the hotel, except for probably the pool. I tell most people 1st or 2nd time there stay at a value. Once you've been through the parks a couple of time then bump up this way you can appreciate the resort and what it has to offer.
Hopefully the weather will cooperate because my DW and I will be down around the same time you'll be there. So have fun if you miss something don't worry it will be there next time around.

we will be there at the same time as well! All star sports in 21 days!

We don't plan to be in the room much so we don't see the point in spending alot for a hotel room.
I would like to stay at a moderate or deluxe once in my life, but I always find something better to spend my money on. Mickey bars or Dole whips.

Ha, I'll be there around the same time too. Lots of Disers going this time of year.

And I've stayed at the Allstars and Pop and such too, they're great. And like someone else said, you'll be at the parks so much this first trip, you won't even think about the hotel!

Your kids will love the theming of the resort!! We will be visiting at the same time. My hotel snob husband requires a stay at a deluxe or he won't agree to go so we are staying at SSR. However when I take the kids down by myself we always stay at the All Star Movies or Sports because they love the theming. Have a blast and enjoy your trip. The memories of the first trip will always be special. Take lots of pictures and videos.
