Thank you all for the lovely comments. I am feeling much better about it now, I was just a bit sorry for myself the weekend we had to cancel it. I got DISboard withdrawal syptoms being away for a week or so afterwards so I'm back!

Besides, when I look at everything I have I am very lucky. I have a lovely job, a great hubby and a healthy family

I am so sorry and am in the same boat as you!! I had to cancel our trip for this coming september, had my adr's made and everything, cancelled them as well. It is heartbreaking but will make your next trip even more special. I plan on doing the disney cruise in Dec 2008.

I know how you feel. I had a February 07 trip all planned. Then I had to have back surgery and was out of work for two months. I want to go in September but everyone will be in school, so the earliest I can go will be February 08. But I guess it's just as well. I would probably still not be able to ride all of my favorite rides. But I swear, if I wait until February, it's going to be a blowout trip! It's not too long until April so just plan a bit more and it will be here before you know it.

Wasn't sure where to post this so I hope this is ok. Am feeling a bit miserable as our trip to Florida which was supposed to be April next year has been postponed to April 2009 due to money problems and other stuff

Are there any other people out there in DISland who are looking forward to something sooooooooooo far in the future?

I tried staying away from the boards and have lasted a week (!) but have come back to see what you are all up to. Am looking forward to getting back there but it is a long way away. Am definately feeling a bit sorry for myself, so if there are any spare hugs out there ...

I know how you feel about trying to look ahead for a trip so far away!! my ticker is only a maybe... my trips to DL are few and FAAAR between!!

Sorry it's getting postponed, but look on the bright side... there will be even more to be excited about then! Maybe a small consolation, but when you do go, you'll enjoy it that much more!
