Our trip has been cancelled

Im so upset, we have to cancel our September trip to AKL! We were all booked and ready to go but my husband is in the military and is going to Afghanistan instead! I've decided I hate the Airforce today (once I've finished sulking I can like them again haha). I'm so disappointed, we were supposed to have a dream holiday but now I get four months of worry instead! Argh!

Oh, I'm so sorry. I know how disappointing it is to cancel a trip. We had to cancel one a few years ago, when my husband took a huge pay cut. But, WDW isn't going anywhere, and when your husband gets back, you can make plans to go again!!!

Oh no! That's terrible, I'm so sorry. Praying you will be able to have a super magical reunion trip when he comes back home! More importantly, please thank him for his service! A true hero! In the mean time, what helps me get over my DD (disney depression ) is reading trip reports here on the dis! It almost feels like you've been on a Disney trip when you finish! Oh I'm sorry. I can imagine how disappointed you all are. I pray for his safe and quick return, and this will give you something else (besides seeing him again!) to look forward to. Looking on the bright side... MORE PLANNING!!

Thanks everyone. We had some great news! It looks like he might not be needed!! We've decided to forge ahead with a trip but just a more budget friendly one, just incase so we're gonna book Pop Century for the first time. that way if he gets recalled up its heaped for us to postpone and go after!

YAY! I'm so happy for you! I've stayed at POP several times and have no complaints! Every Disney resort is great, plus majority of your time will be spent in the parks. Y'all will have a blast!!
