This may be a bit of a rambling post, but it feels good just to get everything out. I have only been on board here a short time, but feel at home. We recently planned and booked our second disney trip for December. My family was so excited, and I had to register here and join TGM to make the most of our experience. I visited here several times daily, and learning more and helping to plan really made me feel good. On March 1st I was called into a meeting at work and told that my position had been eliminated due to a division of my company being sold. I was given two weeks pay and benefits and told to be cleared out by the end of the day. Needeless to say my wife and I were devastated. There was plenty of concern over insurance, mortgage payments, food, and all other necessities. My wife and I both knew in the back of our heads that if my unemployment lasted any length of time the Disey trip would be cancelled. I could not bring myself to visit this or any other Disney site, talk about Disney, let the kids watch a Disney movie, or even play a Disney board game. To make a long story short, I recieved a job offer making a little more than in my previous position, and I am back in Disney mode. OUR TRIP WILL HAPPEN!
