Ok this is a bit sporatic because we evacuated from Marco Island and had a lot on my mine, lucky me I came home to zero damage and power!

We stayed at the POR and loved it, the place is immaculate, the rooms great, the staff friendly and the food fantastic at great prices. We had breakfast at the food court every day and there was no problems at all, pretty inexpensive too. We had the taco salad (awesome), the chicken fingers (very good), the meatball sub (fantastic) and the cheesesteak (so so). Some nights the wait for dinner was long but they cook everything to order to what can you do. We did not get into Boatwrights but we were not worried about it.

We switched our tickets for MNSSHP from Sunday to Thursday because of the storm, the CM were great about it. We had dinner at the Crystal Palace and got in right away without PS!! The food was very good and we had a nice quiet table and since the restaurant was so slow we had a lot of time with the characters. We thought the party was going to be slow since there were no lines for Space Mountain, Buzz Lightyear, the free pictures and all of Tomorrowland....but how wrong were we!! The place was slammed! We enjoyed the parade, the CM were skimping on the candy they gave out, the fireworks were fantastic! It was so hot and the little kids in those heavy costumes were sweating and all red in the face, I felt to bad for them, not too many adults dressed up. All in all I would not spend the extra money for the party but I am glad to say I did it once....

We went to MGM and saw the new car show, I highly recommend that to you all! It was the best thing I have seen there....we left and hopped over to Epcot and ate all around the countries, Italy had the best pizza and pasta carbonara, China had great dumplings but the Chicken Sha Cha was the grossest thing in the world. The lobster corn chowder and BBQ pork from USA was great, the potato leek soup and cheddar cheese soup were very good, great maple walnut fudge, get the perogies from Poland and the kiwi custard roll from New Zealand, the food from Greece was gross, we had pastry from France but it was very rich and filled us up. We walked over to the Boardwalk but nothing was open, DH had to have a slice of pizza, it was very good...MGM was very busy on Friday but Epcot was not, no lines for Test Track and Soarin was only 30 minute for standby....all the other attractions were walk on....loved that.

We went back to MK on Saturday and had a great time, the Noodle Terrace was the most disgusting food we ever ate! The portions are super huge, the egg roll and dumplings were very good and the tea was great but we got the chicken lo mein and teriyaki chicken with rice and it was so mushy and tastless I felt a starving dog would not eat it! That explains the lack of lines. If you are going to try the place check the hours first thing, some time they did not open at all and some days they closed at 3pm. We dumped it and went to Peco Bills for a chicken wrap, that was great and I felt like I was getting healthy food! No lines longer than 20 minutes (for the big thrillers) but Fantasy Land was packed and the lines are 40 minutes. It started to rain so we left and went back to the hotel.

Sunday was another Epcot day, DH loves to eat the countries! It was an early night because of the rain and Monday the parks closed, the weather was horrible but the hotel ran free Disney movies in the room, the food was still being served and the characters were in the lobby to entertain the kids, that was a great idea. The staff was leaving messages in the room about the park and when it would open, which it did around 1pm....the weather had cooled down alot and the wind was still very strong. We went to Downtown Disney and shopped, loved the Earl of Sandwich, we had the ham and brie and the italian and both were great although the potato salad was the pits. Went back to MK and ate at Cosmic Rays, great chicken and caeser salad.

Hope this helps someone and we plan on going to the Beach Club in December~

I just read through my post and realized how much we ate....OY!!!!
