Our Target has pulled all Disney GC

I was looking for Disney GC at our Target the other day and all of the spots where they keep them were empty. Not one Disney GC in the store. Has anyone else noticed this?

Is it possible someone just came in and bought a bunch for an upcoming trip, rather than them having been pulled? I know that happens a lot at ours. Technically they’re supposed to limit but it depends on management

I hadn’t even thought of that! You might be right.

I noticed this at our target also. They were gone for a few weeks. I couple of days ago a new display of gift cards was displayed in the electronic department. There’s a wall of cards now. Disney was included. Maybe they didn’t want to move them to their new location.

Same at our store. No $25's to be found anymore but gobs of the $50 and $100's!

I was just at Target yesterday and the store was full of Disney GCs, it was out of a lot of other ones though, most notably iTunes.

Woman behind us at Target on Saturday looked like she cleaned out every Disney gift card in the store. Certainly didn't affect us, but I felt a little bad is someone else came in later looking for one.

Did you ask if they had been "pulled" or if they were just temporarily sold out? There's a big difference.

I have a feeling that they are just temporarily out of stock and they will be back on the shelves in a week or so.

We started stocking up on Disney GC this past weekend and noticed that our Target was out of them at the front registers and one GC kiosk in store. Found them on a wall in the electronics section. No $25 ones, all $50 and $100.

One of our local Targets was recently remodeled, and they cut WAY back on the number of gift cards for sale. Like, there were only a dozen or so different types of cards. Disney wasn’t there anymore. When I asked about it, they said that Target wasn’t planning on carrying the variety of cards they had in the past.

Well that's interesting, in all my target's the displays actually got bigger/more obvious. And the variety of GC's updated, probably for the holiday season. I was just in a recently remodeled store this morning and it had the new black pegboard end cap in the entertainment section with the usual suspects including $25, $50, and $100 Disney ones. It was a little smaller, but they also changed how the boats were laid out and the shelving system it's attached to is smaller. So looked like a similar amount but more efficient spacing and no multiple pegs for the same card. Just about ever other side cap has a small selection of cards in the aisles too. I didn't walk past the greeting cards this time in that store, but in my other stores they revamped the big GC section there and added more options.

All must be a regional changes then. My stores seem to be doubling down

Yep, mine too. Rearranging and tons and tons of just about any gift card you can imagine.
