Me and my future bride. Both 25 yrs.

For anyone flying out of BDL, we suggest using Executive Valet to park. The first day’s free with your Big Y Card, and the people can’t be nicer. Even at 5:50 AM, they were a great way to start the trip.
SW was its usually good self. Even though we got a C ticket on the way to MCO, we were still bale to sit together. Captain Al started our flight off with a 3 minute harmonica concert. Typical SW.  It was even better that our arrival time of 10:35 was really 10:02. But since we were so early, we had to wait a bit since the gate we were heading to still had a plane there.
We had no bags to check, so as we were coming down the escalator in MCO, we saw the FL Tours sign with our name on it. A couple steps later, we were in the towncar headed to ASMusic. But first we had a ½ hr stop at the °o° outlet at the Orlando Premium Outlets. $171 later we were headed back to the towncar. The rest of the ride to ASMusic was only about 10 minutes.
We only took about 3 busses from ASMusic the 4 days we were there, but we never had to wait more than about 5 minutes. The ride back from DTD is soooooooo long, and the MK seems to be rather far too. The busses weren’t overly crowded, but the AC on some of them didn’t seem to be working.
We took the boat from MGM to the BW, which is a very, very quick ride. We always wait around after the fireworks for the crowds to thin out, so imagine our surprise when after Illumination at 10:15PM, when we had to wait for three busses to get back to ASMusic.
We got the call from FL Tours to confirm out time back to MCO. Ride back was smooth, and check in at SW was a lot longer than Bradley, but that’s to be expected. We were there about 2.5 hrs early so we got an A ticket and parked ourselves at the gate. About 45 minutes before we were to leave the gate attendant said that they might have oversold the flight, and we offering $200 and a refund of that day’s flight if you wanted to wait 2 hours. I was gonna offer our seats, but my fiancé was walking around the terminal, so I wanted to check with her first. By the time she got back, they had already gotten enough volunteers.
The flight back was a little bumpy, and Executive Valet was pulling up 4 minutes after we called (they must have been on the way already).
All in all, getting around wasn’t a problem, and SW, FL Tours, and Executive Valet will all be used again in August.

It's an akward time of the year for climate control. Our HVAC systems aren't like your car, where you can select a temperature... we can't even select A/C or heat. It's simply On, or Off. The system itself does the rest.

The problem is that because of the warm temperatures during the day, and the cold temperatures at night, but system has a hard time figuring out what to do. It has to detect a solid change in temperature for a while before it will switch from heat to A/C or vice versa. This is to prevent the system from going from A/C to heat to A/C to heat really quickly.

Hi hAm53!

We'll be leaving from BDL in mid-December. Were is Executive Valet located when you drive up to the airport? What do they charge per day?

Thanks!
Geri

We always use Executive Valet and have always had a good experience there. And they are usually the cheapest around.
