Our spring break is mid March - will crowds be heavy?

Our Texas spring break is March 15th thru 19th. I've never been at this time of year, but I'm thinking that since it's a few weeks before Easter, crowds will be manageable. Is my thinking wrong or right??

we were there march of 02
and the crowds were fine
longest wait was buzz light year
and that was about 40 minutes
the rest wasn't bad of course we used fast passes alot

if we didn't want to see the christmas decoration
then march is definatly when we would return

Here's a list of Spring Breaks. The biggest crowds are definetly the two weeks around Easter so that time should be manageable.

Hi lexiluke! As you know a lot of Texas schools have spring break around that time...and a lot of those people seem to head to WDW (we are!). We were there in '02 as well and felt the crowds were fairly manageable. I do remember MK being very crowded the day we went, but by using fastpass we didn't have to spend our time waiting in line.

Thanks guys; it sounds as though mid March is reasonable. We're also giving serious consideration to the 1st week of June, but even though I'm from Texas, I really hate hot weather! But do you think the crowds would be a lot more manageable the 1st week in June than during my March dates? I guess I could put up with the heat/humidity if it meant we'd get a lot more done.

Any opinions?
