An owl landed at our house yesterday and brought magical news, the kids have been summoned to Hogwarts for Wizard Training.

Our house was literally BUZZING with excitement, I couldn't capture it with pictures so I shot a little video.

I think this video speaks for itself, I hope you can hear it but Anastasia was OVER THE MOON for her dress and Iggy was CRAZY CRAZY for his shirt. Daddy was even blown away by our shirts and LOVED his, he thought it was pretty funny the saying on the shirts since he works at the University where we both went and we are familiar with the "My Kids and My money go to....." saying.

Casper's romper is INCREDIBLE and it even is reversible. The applique is just stunning.

The letters seriously are BEYOND words, the time and attention to detail that is put into these and everything that you wonderful ladies send is just amazing and brings me to tears. My husband said "someone spent a lot of time and love on these"

The kids read the letters and they REALLY REALLY ACTUALLY think they NEED to collect the itemized list before we go. Iggy keeps reminding me that "the letter says we need to have them before 11am because the train leaves at 11am"

They worse the scarves to school because it has actually gotten cold and rainy here again so that was a nice bonus. LOL The scarves are so cozy and soft Casper LOVES his he keeps carrying it around and putting it around his neck.

The jewelery they put on RIGHT away and haven't taken the necklaces off since.

Casper had PT & Speech therapy appointments today. The Children's Treatment Center where he receives his therapy, and Anastasia received hers, was having their annual radio-thon at the mall down the road from the center so we stopped in before his appointments. He wore his AMAZINGLY SPECIAL Courageous Casper tee and EVERYONE loved it at the mall and center. Seriously it's so perfect for him.

He had a hard day at therapy today but he stuck with it and I am so very proud of him. There's no doubt that he is this shirt to a t.

Again I cannot thank you ladies all enough. You bring tears to my eyes again and so so SO much joy to my children and for that I will forever be grateful. I just love each and every one of you so much.

I PROMISE to get pictures of the kids in their outfits this weekend and share them, and also their other outfits that have come. They are VERY excited to try them on.

Wow, I love the video! Getting to see Asia opening her package was awesome! And I love how Casper grabbed the scarf. You are all going to be the best dressed family at Universal this summer! I'm sure you will be able to get some amazing family pictures while you are there. I love that the saying on the shirt was so perfect for your husband who works at a university. What kind of things do the kids need to collect before they go? You will have to share some pictures of what they have collected!

How cool that Casper was able to wear his Super Casper shirt for therapy and then to the radiothon today. He looks so adorable in it.

As promised I got a few quick pics of the kids in their outfits today, it was finally nice enough and not cold cold. Have I said how much I can't WAIT for spring to officially arrive. LOL

Oh my gosh I am SO sorry yall. We have been hit with sickness back to back here and then just had a holiday it's just been nuts.

We had an AMAZING mail day last week where we were surprised with a ton packages on one day. I am not sure what happened and if my mail man was hoarding the packages or what but WOW the kids were THRILLED.

An AMAZING package of beautiful backpacks with TONS of goodies and things for the kids to do on the plane arrived and the kids were so excited. They had to check EVERYTHING out before I snagged it all up and told them they had to wait for the trip.

AH MAZING matching Star Wars outfits for the kids, seriously they are SO CUTE and Iggy was totally THRILLED that Casper and he have matching outfits. Anastasia went NUTS for her skirt.

A Fibber game which the kids HAD to play that night and was perfect for our family game night. It was so much fun we all had the noses on and Mom & dad lost.

Matching family Mickey head pirate shirts, perfect for a magic kingdom day. Speaking of pirates Iggy also was VERY VERY excited for the "Wicked cool" Jack Sparrow Pirates of the Caribbean outfit, those movies are some of his favorites and it's become harder and harder to find stuff from the movies I find.

Anastasia was beside herself when she saw the Jessie dress her exact words were "It's exactly like Jessie's outfit but BETTER" She LOVE LOVES LOVES the frills and the applique. That girl is NUTS for the applique stuff and I didn't realize she had become so into frills and ruffles.

They were SUPER surprised by the pillowcases with their names on them. Deal making ensued which had me agreeing that they could use the pillowcases the night before leaving for the trip when we stay in the hotel near the airport. Their reasoning was that we would technically be on vacation then so it was okay. Hhhhmmmm they sure are getting good at this deal making thing. LOL

Last but not least was Casper's favorite items the Small Word Board book that has his BELOVED Panda in it, he is OBSESSED with that book now and wants to see his Panda all day long just about. We also have to bring it everywhere. AND the AMAZINGLY CUTE Panda romper with SUPER DUPER cute detachable pandas in the pocket. OMG you should see it I HAVE to get a picture because it's just adorable.

We have been very busy as Casper has started more intensive physio therapy and occupational therapy. The occupational therapist did an assessment last week and the results are that he is at a 12 month level fine & gross motor wise and selfcare and at a 12-18mn level play wise. We've set some immediate therapy goals and one of the biggest things we are going to work on is moving to a sippy from the bottle. I would really like to not have to travel to Disney with bottles and right now he only drinks milk and only from a bottle so it's a big goal.

As I said we have been hit AGAIN by sickness in this house. Daddy is off work with bronchitis and I am pretty sure Casper also has it. I feel like I am getting sick also but I refuse to give in to it.

Casper has another sleep deprived EEG on Thursday so we have to keep him up from 2am until his appointment at 1pm. It should be exciting but at least he is a pretty easy going guy generally.

I am so excited and happy to have run across your beautiful family again. I followed Casper's story on face book for a while and realized you were gone. So excited for your trip to Disney as my family are huge fans too. We are going back in September with our 3 year old.

WOW time if FLYING by now it seems. So much is happening around here I can barely keep up. My mother in law retired and has moved to the city, Toronto, so we are all excited to finally have family closer and we've been taking weekend trips to stay with her downtown.

Casper has been generally doing well health wise, it's up and down but he's always happy and easy going to that makes it easier to deal with. Last week the bone marrow failure clinic called while we were out at OT and wanted to see us ASAP so we are trying to co-ordinate that this week. We will be getting the results from his EEGs this week and we have been going to weekly OT, PT & speech.

The biggest news is that Casper has decided to add to his vocabulary and all of a sudden the other day said his own version of what we are sure is "LET IT GO". We all laughed to hard. Daddy got the sheet music for the movie and has been playing the piano and singing it for a couple weeks now and the kids all love it so I am not surprised he picked up the mimic. I think we REALLY need to get the movie now.

I have noticed for the past couple of weeks that we were not getting very much mail at all, expecting things that just weren't arriving. We have an election coming up here in 10 days and it's an important one for our riding so when we still hadn't received our voter cards I went to the post office and the woman there told me that our mail carriers have been on "job action" for the past month and a half. SERIOUSLY? that would explain our really late things and just lack of mail at all.

SO yesterday she checked the computer for me and went in the back and just GAVE me my packages. There were 2 BIG GIVE packages in there, I was so upset, I don't know how long they had been sitting there but I am writing a formal complaint to Canada Post today and urge anyone else who is in Canada who has noticed less mail to do the same. This is ridiculous, we pay so much for this service and it's beyond sub par.

ANYWAY THANK YOU SO VERY VERY MUCH for ALL of the amazing packages but most importantly the most recent 2. The AWESOME family Canadian mickey head tees are just ADORABLE and we are thinking we will wear them on our flight day. Then the INCREDIBLE animal kingdom outfits are just TO DIE FOR cute and Casper TOTALLY freaked out for the pandas on his shirt it was SO CUTE.

I am going to get some pictures today of him in his and post them.

Casper has also started signing MICKEY whenever he see's him. It's very cute I'll try to get some video of it too.

On the weekend we were blessed with an event from the Starlight Children's Wish Foundation they had an advanced screening just for families of How To Train Your Dragon 2. The screening was at 10am so the kids were BESIDE themselves with excitement for the popcorn at snacks in the morning. Casper managed to hang in there for the first 20mins and had fun walking between the seats, no popcorn for him but I brought him some treats of his own. The kids said the movie was FANTASTIC, I took Casper out to walk him around the mall so he could sleep, and that they would totally see it again so I think they recommend it.

I can't believe how close the trip is getting. All of the passports are now up to date and we are going to book our flights. I bought a cute little CARS heys suit case at Value Village during their 50% off sale and I have been putting the kids outfits in there. I just realized that with all the amazing outfits we have from you ladies I need to plan which outfits to wear which days.

I am going to try to be on the DIS daily now to start figuring out the inner details of the trip, I have to learn about this FP+ thing and figure that out and then how to get to Universal and back. If anyone has any advice on all this PLEASE fire away.
