The dad has been asked, the ring has been purchased, and his nerves are shakey, so it must be real.
So anyway, I was working in the yard this weekend listening to Kenny Chesney and he has a song about coming home from work and his child comes up and wants to show him what he did and the work of art is on the refrigerator. And I remembered how great it was to display what was so important to them, and us parents too.
And then it hit me that as we get older the moments may not end up on physical display but we are so proud none the less. And our DS was so excited to share the news of his meeting with her dad and how welcomed he is in the new family.
Because there is no tangible piece of art to show I wanted to share with our Disney family our excitement to have a new future D-DIL, and yes, she is a Disney fan who will share our DVC points.
When she says yes I will change my siggy and then you will know too.
