You know that saying "another day older and deeper in debt"? I close Tuesday on a 2nd debt consodilation loan that will close the current debt considolation loan and close 2 of my credit cards. And I am a year older as of 8:20 am today. Usually don't share that, but I am a bit weirded outthis week and know not much will be coming in from family. :sad2:

Oh, donations and contributions can be sent to.... :rotfl2: :lmao: :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

Is today your birthday? Happy Birthday if it is. Wasn't sure if you were talking bout aging from stress-- if that's the case everyday I'm a year older. :( Hope everything else works out ok.

There are a number of people who have kids just to either keep up with other family members, its's expected, or want to keep the family line going. Then the expect the day care/school to raise them. Just go in any school and see how many kids are dressed in knock off clothing or expensive stuff and have no idea what mom or dad does.. See how many go into day care or home care afterwards, cause no one is home for them. And still many latch key kids at very young ages.

I worked in a day care for a while and it was surprising how many left their kids when it opened at 6 am and didn't come back until right before closing at 6 pm. And some of these were 6 week old infants through 4 year olds!! and then some school kids were there to catch the bus and then came back until close. So sad. Made you want to hug them all. But even some of the younger ones were already to hard for that. So sad

I was a director of a day care, and that is something I never understood either. Those children were away from home longer than I was!! And I put in long hours, but they were still there longer :confused3

I don't think we would need a wad. Maybe a few pennies and we'll be fine :lmao:

long story short........Mom told 10 year old son to put baby in dads car, since it was dads turn to drop baby off at DC

10 year old put sleeping baby in dads car, and gets in Moms car....they drive off.

Dad gets in car goes to work (not knowing the baby is in back)!

(i can tell you what garbage is in my back seat)

Mom & dad sont talk to each other all day nor do either call the DC provider!
DC dont call either parent to find out where the baby is?

baby dies!

I said it was clearly neglect! Not intentional...but clearly neglect!

There is a "bio dad" here in town that left his 7 month old and 18 month old napping on a bed while he went a few doors down to get his nephews from school. when he came back he said he found the 7 month old was dead. They have now found out he was asphyxiated and charged the bio dad.

Also we had one lady shoot herself in the tummy to abort her fetus. she said an unknown man had shot her. she was havng contractions already and didn't want to have a 3rd child.

Another lady put her 3-4 yr old son out on the interstate and drove off in the DC area.

It is a crazy world out there.

Yep, and worse than that the parents just want to rush in & out & not find out about their child's day. :sad2:

And I quote:

Ahem, thank you!

I had GD with both mine and now looks like I'm about to convert to DM if I don't start watching my diet more carefully.

I think we might need a little taste testing on this one. If they are better than mine, sure cinnamon rolls would be great :rotfl2:
Yeah mine are soo good that when I bring out that grease stained recipe book they come running from the rest of the house. WHAT do they smell the pages? Me who doesn't even care for store bought goods or even desserts for that matter, often eats gobs of the dough and at least 2 when they are done. :cool1:
