Huhm .. ok we've been together since 1981 what is that? 25 years right. Got married when I was 22 & john was 23. (b-days are 1 year & 1 day apart so for 1 day a year we are the same age :rotfl2: )

Ben came along when I was 24 & John was 25.
Along came Em when I was 27 & John was 28 -- calendar year though mean it was only 25 months apart.

SO together for 25 years and on Nov 10 married for 22 years

Kim and I have only been married a little over 4 years now. I've got a couple on my route that told me the other day they had been married for 58 years.

I thought it was at 50 years you got to upgrade, kind of like a trade in :rotfl:

Wow, that is a very long time!

Sb mom. Good like in the am and I hope that all turns out well for your family.

Princess-what a gorgeous picture. Loved the cindy dress it's what all fashionable flower girls are wearing.

Mr Oakie-now I'm thinking I'm going to have to put in a preorder.I just love fall foods.

well survived our heckish busy weekend. Looks like we are gearing up for every weekend to be such for a while at least until soccer is over. At least no more double headers for soccer. We darn near froze out there for three hours. It was that wet cold that reminded me of San Fran. BRRRRR. I'll take an ice rink any day.

Well feeling pretty wiped so good night everyone.

That means I got 46 to go. :rotfl2: I always tell Kim.... the only way she's gonna get rid of me is when I'm dead. Hmmmm... just got to thinking... I redid my insurance policy lately to give her more money :teeth:

I'll be putting those notches in the bed post counting down the years :rotfl:

I'm sure there is an evil plot going on at the Oakie house now :rotfl2:

Our new motto should be "Don't be late for Target!!!" after all that's where we find all the lime bargins. :rotfl:

I think my dh laughed harder at this than anything. All he said is wow you aren't the only  person out there! :rotfl2: He thinks I am absolutely crazy for getting up really early an being at Target the day after a holiday to get all the good deals!!!

yeah, we've thought about that. however having a wedding (an intimate one, 18 people) in disney will be a TON cheaper than having both of our extended families together for a wedding.

my mom has 7 siblings, my father 3, his each have 4. they all have at least 2 kids. (notice i said at least...the number varies from 2-6)

we're over 100 people...for family. we're running away and if they can't come to florida..OH FREAKING WELL.

how strange is that? something in disney is cheaper than the 'real world'

Ok but there are more than 18 of us limeys here. Aren't you even gonna invite your mom? :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

and i have every intention of throwing a huge hick-style-backyard-BBQ party after we get back.

so his 'city smart' family can meet my family from the boonies! it will be such a weird experience for them!

I love bbq's can we all come. We'll scare them away for sure!! :rotfl2:

My wedding was inexpensive considering what I had, but I had the sticker shock as well. I feel like slapping myself for not doing it down there. We honeymooned there, it would have been nothing to get married there, and I probably wouldn't have had my drunken photographer arrested. :teeth:

I looked there after the fact, because of what happened at my wedding, we want to renew our vows eventually. Even though we are only coming up on our 2 year anni, we feel we were cheated out of 'our day' I know selfish, but can't help that one! So that is what brought on the search...only if I knew then what I know now.

Wow if you can con Tim into renewing our vows at dw then I will work on Mike and we can have our reception together. How does y :laundy: around the world sound? Heck we can even splurge for sitters for the week!! :rotfl2: Photographers will be cheap we'll grab our photopass!! :lmao:

Boy, and I thought we were slow (!!!!!!!!!) - we were together 6 years before marrying! And waited 7 more to have kids! :)

Lawdy, I'd never be able to get mine into mine again!

We also dated 6 years before marrying (but we did start dating at 16) and waited another 7 to have kids!

Why not renew your vows there next year? If I liked my dh enough I would do it again, but beings I've been with him this long, not should I could commit myself any deeper! :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl:

OK well then just skip the wedding part and join p89 and me for :laundy: around the world!! I promise we will keep dh on ground level this time NO STEPS! :rotfl2:

:lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: Ok I hold you responsible for the mess I made, while spitting stuff all over my monitor :lmao: :rotfl:

I think we might wait one more year. We've been together 14 years, going on 15 but only married 2 go figure :confused3 There is no significance to the years, because they all mold together anyway. We are planning Vegas for this year's anni, and thought about renewing then, but I think I need to loose some junk in the trunk to fit into my dress again! So I'll give myself a year!

You can borrow mine I was 5 months pregnant with nick for ours. Hate when the kid gets in the way of a long planned wedding!!

Ok, Ive been on too long, gotta to go lots to do. Hope to get on again tonight.

I thank you all for your support over the last couple of days, you have no idea how much it means to us. :goodvibes :grouphug: Tomorrow is a really big day for us & we need all of your thoughts and prayers & certainly pixie dust.

I can't go into detail, but I will share this with you. It has come to our attention that our dd1 may be bipolar and we are hoping to be able to get her the treatment that she needs. I just wish it was that simple.

Thanks again, lovely limey thoughts to all! Have a good day at work, school, or play!
My prayers that all goes well are with you. If she is definitely BP don't let them prescribe any anti depressants for her that are contradictory to BP. They can cause worse manic states even psychotic ones. :grouphug:

I remember working the morning after Christmas at a Foley's Department Store (they were bought by Macy's), and I still remember these women just flying past my checkout stand. You'd think we were giving away gold bars or something. I think I even saw a few kids running along with the mom's. I will never set foot in any store (except maybe HD :teeth: ) the day before or after Christmas.

So, Teresa do you run through department stores or Targets the day after holidays?

I'm not sure if anyone here watches the George Lopez show, but he's much funnier when he's doing stand up than that show (some of it hits really close to home).
Well, he has this one bit where the dad is telling his daughter just how great the wedding reception can be if they do it in the backyard. He tells her "right here on the hood of the chevy we can put the buffet, and then we can put sheets on the clothes lines so we don't see the neighbors dogs". :rotfl:

I'm sneaky! Guess thats why I am so good at swiping lgmh's. I leave my cart at the end and and just slip through the mess! I am taller than most so I can see high I load up my arms and off I go. THis year I am on a mission for a superman costume for my ds3. We already have spiderman and batman. Plus more fog potion. and anything else cool I can find for decorations.
