That's an awesome idea. Maybe we can work something out with a distributor around here to have a Stanley Keg.

As you can imagine, it is lots of fun!!! :thumbsup2

We did "go with the flow" sometimes....if we stayed later in the afternoon than we meant too, rather than going to the hotel late in the afternoon, we'd go ahead and stay for dinner and just maek an early evening of it. That little bit of flexability helped alot.

MAJOR ditto on the laundry thing!!! We did it on the rainy day when we were hanging at the hotel anyway - packed less and boy, was it nice to have fresh things availible! (So, basically, do whatever PD says!) :)

Everyone! I mean everyone took an afternoon siesta whether they wanted to or not & it helped us stayed refreshed for the emhs!

Sometimes DH and I argue over who gets to do the laundry. We both want that time to ourselves with a good book! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Could you PM my DDs on the "SO, basically. do whatever PD says" :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I was thinking about that also. I'm a pretty light packer but Dh I swear takes 20 pairs of underwear and socks for a 7 day trip. How much is laundry soap and stuff at the hotels or did you just bring a little from home. I was thinking about just getting some tablets to throw in the luggage with some bounce sheets.

I know when dh and I went for our honeymoon we went and napped (yes slept) everyday. We went in July the day after our wedding from which we were already exhausted so I'm hoping we won't be quite as wiped out this time. Of course we are a bit more aged now.

So our plan is this

Sat night we are just exploring our hotel and possibly taking in one parade or fireworks show.

Sun hit mk for the magical beginnings and plan on staying through emh that evening with afternoon break. Dinner at ohana

Mon mgm all day but unsure if we are going to get away for afternoon break that day due to time of fantasmic ressies at mama melrose.

Tue epcot definately taking the little guy back to the hotel that afternoon as we have late hddr ressies.

Wed pirate cruise and then go to animal kingdom and stay for emh. Dinner at Boma.

Thur is no plan day. We may decide to go to blizzard beach or go back to our fav's. We are probably going to want to go back to animal kingdom due to our late arrival that day. We have dinner reserved at marrakesh.

Fri more of the same favs. Dinner reserved at cape may and mnsshp.

Sat sleep in and late breakfast at chef mickeys then probably shop a little before flight home.

I know we have got a lot planned but we are going to try and get in as much as possible because it will take more than a little lovin to get dh to come back before the kids are teens. So I really do want to get as much fun in as possible for the kiddos.

Sounds like a good schedule! When we have early flights home, so no time for a park, we always have breakfast at Chef Mickeys. In Sept., we have a later flight so will go to a park. DH asked if we can go to Chef Mickeys another morning, so we're going earlier in the vaca this time!

I think it's $1.00 for an individual box of laundry detergent good for one load and $1.00 for 2 bounce sheets. I always buy them from the vending machines there. It's more expensive, but one less thing to pack, tho now that I think about it, the bounce sheets are no big deal to pack. I think I'll throw a few in my luggage next trip. Tablets are a good idea too. Maybe I'll check those out! Thanks!

Just wanted to welcome everyone back that is back from a trip.

Want to wish people who are leaving for the mutherland soon a very magical trip.

Everyone going to school have a great day. My ds & Stinkerbelle will be entering high school (ds) and prek-3(dd2) so both are very excited.

DL sounds like a fun trip. I however would have to bring my whole posse! No way will I be allowed on a fun trip like that w/o dh especially leaving him behind with all of these kids. He wouldn't normally care, but this is Disney we're talking 'bout! :rotfl:

Had a very exhausting day running around doing last minute school shopping-- luckily was mostly finished a while ago. Also shopping for class reunion stuff for class reunion on Saturday.

Lastly, I want to say that me & my family are very heartbroken at the death of Steve Irwin, the Crocodile Hunter! That is just a tragic loss, and just so shocking with what happened. Our thoughts & prayers are with his family, friends, and the animals that he did his best to protect.

Nite all, baby lucky ducky's piercing hunger screams will soon be disturbing me!

Just want to let everyohne know what a great family weekend we just had. Friday night we went to the HS football game. We lost, but had a good time. Saturday night we stayed home (all of us) and watched videos and Sunday night we went to the drive in movies and saw Invinceble and step up. DDs had never been to the drive in, so it was lots of fun. It was a very laid back weekend. We had a great time! The fall weather seems to have come to NY this weekend and I was thrilled. Autumn and winter are my favorite seasons! I noticed some of the leaves started to change colors over the weekend!

I too love autumn and winter. Football starts and hockey gets going and I love making comfort type foods in my crockpot that nobody wants to eat until the weather gets cooler. Kids in school. What could be better.

Well looks like everyone has headed to bed for the first big day of school. It seems so weird because our kiddos have been back for 2 weeks. I think this is just a sin but what can you do.

Have a great first day everyone.

Don't overdo anything. SOmetimes the adults (including me) get so excited that we forget the kids can't go commando. I also think you have to stop for lots of snacks to avoid meltdowns!

Hey, I can handle it. Come to think of it Winnie and Tink can handle it too. Well then, that just leaves the male in the house, he can't handle it.

No need for PMs, when it comes to Disney, do whatever Pd say to an extent, when it comes to real life, ummm... well... I'll just leave that one kinda open ended.
