Summer Vacation is June 1 to August 28 here!!!!...and VERY few days off during the year. Easter vacation is 2 days!

My kids' is about the same, of course they go to a Catholic school so Easter & Christmas they get off almost 2 weeks. My ds will be in high school so his year is 9/5 to about 5/31.

Hey Limeys!

Just thought I'd say that I recently swiped 10 LMMHPC for my next trip! My best friend's mom was suppsed to swipe them for me since she works at Home Depot, but she broke her foot and hasn't been at work. So I muscled up the courage and did it myself! Only thing is that I took a Buzz Lightyear room decorating brochure and also swiped some other MHPC in Buzz Lightyear colors so it would look like I was taking them legitamately for the purpose of decorating my son's room (who doesn't exist yet)!

My kids' is about the same, of course they go to a Catholic school so Easter & Christmas they get off almost 2 weeks. My ds will be in high school so his year is 9/5 to about 5/31.

My dd goes to Catholic school too.. about 1.5 weeks for Christmas, and ahhhh, only about 4 days (not including the weekend) for Easter.

I WANT 2 WEEKS FOR EASTER!!

I was wondering if you was hibernating or sumfin', hadn't seen you for a while. Dds & I were at a store & saw some of your cousin's but they must have been albino polar bears, they just didn't seem to have that limey sheen you have--poor bears!

My dds go back with the public schools-- they moved the ps up a week, but the girls get out earlier by about a week. Not sure how much longer that will last. The ps' have to have 180 days here, and the archdiocese decided that the Catholic elementaries will have to increase to 180 too. My ds is making out good because he goes back after Labor Day & stops around 5/24 & then takes finals up until 5/31, but they're never the full day. I don't think he gets off for Christmas & Easter as long as the girls do. I may be mean, but I love it when school is in session. If I have to be miserable at work, why shouldn't they be miserable in school!
