My ds gave himself the nn Pumpkin & man is he sorry he ever did. This happened a couple of weeks ago. Dh was running to the store & called out to me (his pumpkin ), "I'm leaving Pumpkin, I'll be back in a couple of minutes". Well ds jumps in "Ok, see you later". Well he's been Pumpkin ever since-- even though he keeps trying to pass it onto Stinkerbelle.

This time of year makes me glad I have all boys...the youngest one keeps saying he doesn't need 'nuttin for school. bought him lots of new things late spring (like the athletic wear wind pants/shorts, they're not so size specific as to length), so other than new shoes & couple of message t-shirts - that's absolutely what he's getting - zip.

works for me, more money in my sock for the next DIS trip.

I didn't want to be the first to say anything, but I totally agree with you. I know I haven't been on here that long, but the past couple days since we got moved to the CB has been crazy. The main reason I joined the board was to research and chat with other people who've been to disney and share their experiences. I love all the limeyness (is that a word? )

I was reading through some of the posts last night and this morning, while trying to catch up, and was really discouraged. Guess I may have to put a couple people on ignore too Trying not to let it discourage me from checking out the board in the future.

Being new as well I did not want to reply at 1st either. I am sorry fi I am on ignor as I usually quote each person as I see their thread & then when I see the next post I reply to it as well. I don't know how to multi quote on this board or if you even can. I am sorry if I am one who posts too many tiems. However, I am hoping they are talking about those who are just replying to increas their # of posts by waving or saying hi numerous times etc.... nto those who are just quoting so they don't ahve to page back too much! lol

I've lived my entire life in upstate NY! But let me tell ya when I spend just a weekend in the south, I pick up that wonderful southern accent right away and it takes weeks to leave it behinf. LizzY went to Washington for a conference about 1 year ago and met alot of people from the south. She still uses y'all in her day to day conversation!

That is how I am. LOL When we come back from Fla I know peeps will be alughing at me for having picked up some more of the southern accents again. I keep it with me most of the time but some times like when I come back from down south it is far more prominent.

DH decided to take his car today instead of the bike and my darling (note the sarcasim) brother, decided NOT to go back to his friends and get his car and take mine instead!!!! Before my magical employment at Home Depot I work for a company that had an office in southern VA(emporia)so I had to talk to them alot.....I STILL say ya'll!!!!!! and I haven't worked there in 5 years!!!!!

same thing few times here too...only have one set of keys for 2nd car, I'm far too cheap to go to dealer & get re-keyed. He's gone off & taken both sets with him (of course I've done the same thing, just not as often).

does your DH have a bike or a Bike (motorcycle)...my DH has a slush fund hidden from me for his Harley, good thing or that would have been scarfed up long ago for WDW

Hubby sings this song EVERY year! He thinks it is the funniest thing ever despite both kids showing their anger. When in staples to get office supplies for his private business he grabs a cart and actually dances down the rows screaming it at the top of his lungs. The rest of us just hide somewhere else.

I know! I have been overwhelmed lately into semi-lurkdom....no way to respond to everything on here! I try to reply to whatever I can do quickly and then let the rest flow around me. It's hard not to feel as if I need to be part of every conversation on this thread.

Just make sure if you're lurking, keishashadow, that you pop back out once in awhile like you do...we'd miss you if you went into total lurk mode!
