I know that movie too!!!! One of my favorites!
Monty Python and the Holy Grail has always been a favorite of mine too. I just love the fight between the two knights. And the knight that has a servant going behind him to make the sounds of horse hooves hitting the ground :lmao:

Hey PD here's another funny moment just for you....... brought to you by well--me.

My dh had a double ear infection so he was having a little trouble hearing, but he's always a guy no matter what the situation.

So picture this. We’re getting married Catholic. So we’re both standing in front of the alter with the priest in front of us. Our wedding party lovingly surrounding us. The church is packed….. all eyes of course….. on us! Well it comes to the moment we have to dedicate a bouqet of flowers to the Virgin Mary---- mind you we had just rehearsed this the night before. Well I turn to my left & start walking over – we had to walk about 5 feet to the left & turn right to go up to the statue. Well dh is just standing there. Somebody whispers to him --- in a LOUD stage whisper (remember double ear infection)---- “Go with her”. Dh replies “huh”. Again “GO WITH HER!” My totally male husband says “Step on it?!?!?” Then proceeds to step on my train which then causes me to be bodily jerked back. On the bright side atleast I didn’t fall. I ask you what’s total embarrassment in front of a couple hundred of your closest family & friends!?!?!?!? Now that moment IS probably on film!

Bring the video to Tara's wedding. Please .Please.Please. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I was gonna start quoting from that part, but figured it was too long since I'm at work-LOL. I love the part when he kept telling people he was their king & they kept telling him he wasn't. LOVE LOVE LOVE this movie. Used to watch it alot with my dad. My dad also loved Airplane! "Surely this can't be happening!" "It is, and don't call me Shirley!" :)

OK...Here is my wedding story :bride: .....We met on March 15th 1992, got married December 15th, 1992 in front of a judge (on a Tuesday after work), our first trip to WDW together(five days) and had a big party (reception) party: at the end of January 1993. Sounds very unromantic....but my DH is the most romantic person I know. :cloud9: Anyway....I have'nt read the last couple of pages yet and have no idea what the "when we got married thing stemmed from" ...so sorry if this is out of place.

P.S. We haven't missed a year with a trip to Disney ever since.....now that's romantic!!!:lovestruc

She called me the night before the wedding to tell me she and DH to be were getting married the next day and none of us were invited :scared1:

The first time I ever saw it was with my dad too. I also used to watch Airplane but my dad never really cared for that one as much. I loved the old lady on the plane that could talk jive with the black men. I thought that was hilarious as the lady looked like she belonged in some high class country club not the ghetto :lmao:

LOL, that wasn't just any old lady, that was the mother from Leave It To Beaver! (show before my time too). If I'm not mistaken the girl that was so sick on the plane was the Capt's dd on The Love Boat. (I remember we were talking about her about 3,000 posts ago-LOL).

I'll have to try all my new smilies tomorrow, I'm trying to leave, but you all keep posting!?!?!?

I eloped and wrote my family notes to let them know I was married. My mom kept putting off opening hers, so my sister had to bug her (since she'd opened hers and knew what it said.) My mom kept asking her "why do you care if I've opened my mail or not?" Soon she understood.
