We just returned from 5 nights in a 2-bedroom at Bonnet Creek Resort. I just want to share some random thought about the resort and our experience.

I would like to begin by saying we rented through Vacation Upgrades. Ken and Denise were wonderful to work with and I would recommend them to anyone! We paid $120 a night for the 2-bedroom deluxe.

We checked in Friday night, probably around 8:30 or 9:00. I’m not one to care a lot about the view; the only thing I didn’t want was a first floor room. Well, we were given a room in Tower 4 on the first floor, lol. I asked if there were any other rooms, but there were none. They did say we could inquire about moving the next day but once I am unpacked, it would take a lot to make me move.

The room itself was great - big, beautiful, and mostly clean. The location ended up being good. Of course we never had to wait for an elevator, only a few steps to the parking lot or pool. However, (and lets go back to when I said I have never been one to care much about view!)..the view from our room was intrusive at best! Our master bedroom actually angled and faced toward the lobby window of the building. I could wave to people in the lobby, lol! Not to mention this was right where everyone was coming in and out all times of the day and night…so there was a slight noise factor. Also, I dislike having a patio unless I am at the beach. I really wanted a balcony…a patio isn’t the same!

We thought the resort was gorgeous, although I think a little too big for my liking. There seemed to be plenty of activities to keep every occupied. We did notice that there was a lot of garbage lying around. I was a little surprised by this.

We brought two cars with us, most of the time we had to park in the garage. Someone put a small scratch on my daughter’s front bumper. I guess they backed into it in the garage. Driving to and from the parks was so easy! We didn’t use the shuttles so I have no idea about those.

We rented a cabana at Tower 4 one day. It was a nice, relaxing way to spend the day! Our only issue with the cabana was that our locked cabinet would not lock.
Overall, we felt most of the staff was polite, but not friendly. If that makes any sense?! The exception would be housekeeping in our building, she was very friendly every morning we saw her in the lobby.

Would we stay there again? Absolutely! Location was great, the size of the rooms is great, and the amenities are fabulous. I can overlook some of the things that I didn’t care for because of what we did appreciate.

Love WBC, but I wouldn't be thrilled with a 1st floor unit. Although I found the condo and the grounds to be very clean, I was totally grossed out by a really dirty window in the main hallway of Tower 5. It stayed that way for days! I agree that the staff is polite but not super friendly.

It's so beautiful and so inexpensive (and the condos are so large!) that I can put up with a few little quirks.
