OK, so we're off on Weds for a mere long weekend, which fortunately coincides (on purpose) with the end of the Food & Wine Fest. Tho we're only doing one event (2 small children precludes more), we're looking forward to hors d'oeuvres and maybe an aperitif or two around the World Showcase. But of course, being Überplanners, we had to make some PSs. Here they are:

11/10: arrive, catch a restaurant we have not yet tried at Epcot - no PS
11/11: PS for dinner only: Spoodles (our friends arrive before or just at the beginning of dinner time). Tried to schedule it later, but nothing was open after 6:00 at Spoodles or Flying Fish
11/12: lots of PSs, quick early snack in the room, then MK, PS for CRT at 10:20; then wine & food pairing event for some of us reserved at 4:30 at Coral Reef (DD and Mom will go back for a swim instead). Then 7:00 PS at Akershus
11/13: PS for dinner only: Jiko (our fav')
11/14: no PSs yet, but will probably try to get a good brunch before our friends fly out.
11/15: fly home

OK, right off the top, I think we might need to cancel the Akershus PS as most of us will be full up by that time. Perhaps we should just snack arounf the WS? I have been considering Flying Fish or one of the Swan or Dolphin restaurants for evening of 11/14, nothing too heavy, but probably on the early side since we'll have had brunch.

Pls comment and advise. Thx.

You will have no problem snacking around the world, just went back yesterday and there is always so much to try and some redos! I wish I could go up again before it closes. We also saw Eddie Money's concert which I thought was pretty good.

It sounds as if you'll be packed with fun eating and low on time....I think you're right...move the Akershus....maybe Le Cellier for the cheese soup/breadsticks and a nice creme brulee? I would just pick a nice spot you haven't tried yet and order an appetizer and dessert for that night...

For the brunch....1900 Park Faire at Grand Floridian? Or Cape May breakfast buffet? Chef Mickey's is fun, too...since you have two little ones in tow...a character meal with more than just princesses is a nice touch....it's neat to hug Mickey and Goofy! :)

Enjoy!!!
Tara
